Interest check: The Two Kingdoms Equestria has expanded its natural borders to set up various colonies across the seas after the discovery of a brand new continent amazed Equestrians and set sail across the seas to start a new life. This enormous new continent soon had its own Equestrian inhabitants who had decided to call their new home ‘Ellion’ (Pronounced ‘Ell,I,On”) turned from a small colony, to a sizeable land, to a full blown kingdom which is prospering due to its export of materials. Ellion was a paradise, an untouched heaven until the motherland decided enough was enough. Ellion was a very benevolent kingdom. Equestria on the other hand, wasn’t so lucky since the abdication of the princesses turned the kingdom into a somewhat communist regime. Equestria, realizing that they can no longer control Ellion, threatened to declared war against the land to “Secure the future.” The sudden act shocked everyone, the zebra who had good relations with Ellion defended Ellion alongside the ‘Ellionians’ to protect their ally. The Griffons decided to protect Ellion alongside the Zebra and Ellions as they knew that nothing wrong had happened to make Equestria declare war against them. Shocked about their betrayal, Equestria expanded into the Zebra and Griffon kingdoms, forcing them to leave to Ellion or be eradicated. After coming close to invading Ellion, Equestria swiftly took over every land available to them on their continent, forcing the Zebra and Griffons to call Ellion home. What Equestria did not know was that the Zebra and Griffons became the best of friends with the Ellions alongside the original pony inhabitants to protect their land. Equestria, whose land now completely taken over every single kingdom on their continent has now officially declared war against Ellion and has now called themselves “The Equestrian Empire”. Ellion was now ready to stop the aggressive expansionist empire which was Equestria with their Zebra and Griffon allys, who considered them one of their own to take back their homes. It was time to protect the kingdom.
hmmm. I like the backstory, but I'm not sure how you would have single participants affecting the entire war effort. care to help me with that information a bit?
"All that is valuable in human society depends upon the opportunity for development accorded the individual." - Albert Einstein It's amazing what the power of an individual can do. An individual can change the course of history, which has happened all through out it. This RP is basically one of those "Choose a Faction" roleplays in which your actions can have great or dire consequences. Like Mass Effect where if you make a bad decision in one, it affects what happens in two and three and the overall product which is the ending.
Okay. I get it. one more question, can be deer? (Sorry, I made a deer oc whose basically a warrior that feels all creatures are his family. Every single one. Until he sees his "close" family getting hurt. and this seems like and oddly perfect fit for that >.>)
I concur, Ridley. Not entirely sure if my OC would be suited to this sort of scenario, but I'll keep an eye on it for now.
Make sure to remember an OOC chat in the sign-up sheets. I think I've figured out how to use Silver Crescent, and possibly some canon ponies.
