Hey ya'll. I'm fluttercry. I am a pegasister. I found My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic on rhettandlinkommunity.com (many on the site are bronies) and I decided, "What the heck? I'll give it a shot." Well that 'shot' has lead me far. I'm a supporter of the show, and I've seen every episode. Ever since the first episode, I fell in love with the sweet, adorable and lovely Fluttershy. But what caught my attention most, honestly, was she was doing the music arrangement. I've always been an animal lover, so I knew Fluttershy was my favorite pony. But, being a country gal, it's taken me this long to realize that I love Fluttershy just a tad more than AJ. I hate that I have to pretend I'm not a pegasister at school. Like, Fluttershy, I'm afraid of being made fun of. I've really been trying to be more like Pinkie, and lighten up. This is my Octavia flair. I'm really up-tight like her, and have a fond love of beautiful music. But my totally rocker side says I need to chill out like Vinyl Scratch, and rock out like DJ PON 3. My Rarity side is that I'd love to be as beautiful and as loved as her, as she is just naturally adored. I'm not clumsy as Derpy, but I do think that Derpy Whooves is the total side of me that says, "Do what you want." I, like Rainbow Dash, have big dreams. I'd love to be an author. I love reading like Twilight, but Twilight is just, like, 65% more organized than I am. I'm a lot more 'go with the flow' but my friends did vote me 'most like an owl, for my wiseness'. Which is an absolute honor. Like Applejack, honesty is a quality I believe I should have, but I don't always act like I do. I regret not being honest at times that are really important to me and others. Of course, I'm not a liar. I'm so happy to have found an active community like this one. -fluttercry
Well, it is a kid's show, so it probably carries the same stigma whether you're a boy or a girl. Although I too think that girls may have an easier time being open about it than guys, however I'm sure there are just as many girl jerks out there as there are guys...maybe even more so if we're talking high school age. Well, never mind that, everyone here is pretty nice and we're all down with the ponies so I'm sure you'll have a good time discussing your new found interest here Fluttercry. Welcome to EP!
