I know the chat page is one of the most inactive places. Well I plan to change. I'm known to make chat very interesting. I just need people or else it won't work. Plus since those on iPods can't go to livestream I can go to the forums and chat that's it. So who's with me. *raises a flag up* For equestria. Beware I'm known to randomly rp also but still keep up with general discussion. Basically I can switch really well.

I'm in. It has a very fancy layout, and that's good enough for me. Also it doesn't add much to the stress of my poor computer.
I'm in the site chat more often now. (Seeing as how I'm a chat mod... I don't know why I'm not in there as often. XD) And RPing is fine. I like RPing sometimes... but mainly when it's a story where anypony can join at anytime. (Basically a story where there's no set story, but a set ending)

ok sorry, wasnt sure if this was an old thread or not, cause I cant get the chat to work and there was nothing in the faq bout it. All I can get is the "Logout, channel, style, Language" options and nothing else will appear
Hmm, could you provide with me some screenshots and the browser/version your using? That'll help me determine the problem. Seems to be working fine for most.
For some reasons the emoticons seem to mess with autoscroll. Once somepony posts an emoticon the chat stops autoscrolling. Switching autoscroll off and back on doesn't help. I had that problem on FF5 aswell as Chrome.
I've always had problems with autoscroll in Chrome but never looked into it because no one else reported anything and I most certainly didn't make a connection to the emoticons. I'll keep my eye on that, thanks Flash.
It has something to do with the timeout feature of chat I think. I noticed that on other sites I'm on you can time out in a matter of a couple of unactive minutes meaning your not doing anything. And the chat glitches where you randomy log out or if someone pushes the backspace and it takes them back a page. I've been using these type of chats for almost a year now :3
Yay it does that. Always make sure you clicktext box before ever doing anything or else an key press may be accidental.
