I have quite a few brony friends. Although I didn't quite get it at first I respected how much they liked MLP. I watched Party of One but it just didn't do it for me. It was cute when, I think it was Rainbow Dash? was pushing that other pony to make her come to the party, but it wasn't enough to get into the show. Two days ago I decided to watch the first episode to see a bit more about it and liked it so much more. What really got me was Fluttershy and that timid shyness and then the squeak! I was pretty sure that she was going to be my favorite. I watched clear through to episode 3, but it didn't do it that much. Yesterday I watched I think episode 4 which focuses on Applejack? and I just loved it. I decided at that time that it really was a great show. I wanted to see more about Fluttershy though and saw some videos of her "screaming at the top of her lungs" and the rant about the dress and knew that she was my favorite. Ironically though, this name I picked for myself is one I used a long time ago in an old-school MUD call Shilla. It was so appropriate for this forum though. Anyway, I wanted to give my official "coming out of the stable" announcement and let everyone welcome me. Funny thing is when I told my brony friends about it, I used that exact term without even knowing it was a common term. Finally I want to state that I don't think I would be interested in any kind of pornographic or overly violent (some is ok) fan content of MLP. I have looked at some fan stuff and like what I have seen so far. I hope that the stuff I don't want to see isn't on here much or I'll probably not stick around.

Oh yes, the "squee" is infectious While I only have one other brony friend (I introduced her to the show anyway ), she pegged me as Applejack and yeah, I do have a rather cowboyish past, but oh! how I was drawn to Fluttershy! I think she'd give the best hugs. And no worries, it's pretty easy to avoid the not-so-savory bits of more hardcore fan works. The stuff on here is more to make you smile. If anything else is posted, I'm sure it would come with fair warning and bells and sirens and spoiler tags and... you get the picture I hope you enjoy your time here and stick around!!

Thank you for all the warm welcomes everyone. my friends on Kongregate (any of you on here?) warned me about some of the bad content and I knew I wouldn't want to see that garbage. It sounds like I picked the right herd to join. I think I will like it here. I don't have a lot of time in the next few weeks though to catch up on things so I will only be watching this one thread. I'm a small business owner, I run a table-top gaming store in Wyoming. If anyone wants more information about it I'll be glad to tell you. I've been hoping to find some good games and puzzles to sell here in the store with the MLP theme. There are two pony-curious regulars at the store and I think my coming out of the stable will bring them out as well. Actually I would think Applejack would give the better hugs because I like a good, strong, solid, friendly hug. Fluttershy just wins over in the ubercuteness category

Well, I'm not artistic at all but I'm gonna need a pic and/or cutie mark I guess. Anyone feel like hooking a brony up? The original Fluterbee was a pixie/bee type magic user, I think the new flutterbee can be a pony/bee hybrid or something, and somewhere larger than a bee but much smaller than a normal pony. Pegasus style of course. or maybe the bee can be the cutie mark and just be a normal pegasus pony
there is a custom pony maker on deviant art and it even lets you put a cutie mark on it hope that helps

Yes, I would love it. I really love this pony I created for this Avatar, but it is not what I have in mind for Flutterbee. I'd probably change my pic to what you design and keep this one as a signature or something
Well, I don't play many straight up table-top RPG's any more. My favorite is probably Warhammer fantasy RPG but I'm also liking what i see of Pathfinder. What I really enjoy now are the RPG/Board game hybrids like Descent and Middle-Earth quest. Redakai is the only CCG I play now. I'll play almost any board game as long as it is well designed. I don't like party games except Apples to Apples.
