Before I say anything, I'd to clearly and obviously state: this is my opinion. Feel free to disagree with it. That's what makes the world go 'round. But the gist of what I'd like to say is... Calm. Down. We all love this show. We all have unique outlooks on what we consider "good" and "bad". But for the love of Celestia, we really need to calm down with these extremely convoluted theories that people are getting. People start talking about leaving the fandom. Not liking the show anymore. Sorry, but... when was being part of a fandom necessary to enjoy the show in your own way? What happens will happen, and I choose to think more positively than others, and that's okay. We all have different opinions and ideas. But please everyone, try not to worry too much about the future of the show, and always remember that what we are witnessing here and now is one of the most amazing fandoms that I have ever witnessed, and I'm so glad to be a part of it. Thank you for your time!
Episode Summary: When Twilight casts a spell that switches the Cutie Marks and destinies, the only way to reverse the spell is by writing her own magic. My thoughts: Alicorn Twilight sounds like a temporary thing similar to their crystal pony looks. Fitting it into the plot would be easy, she and Celestia's destinies are swapped, etc. Just my thoughts.
People take this stuff way too seriously. I'm just going to continue enjoying my show about cute talking ponies. I could care less if the fandom disperses somewhat. In fact, I expect it to: for many people, whether they realize it or not, it's a fad, and eventually they'll move on to the NEXT BIG THING.
I'm like you. I try to think positive. I'm also not into this whole "OMG! Teh writerz iz gettin LAZY!" mentality. It's a kid's show so if it seems a little cheesy, what did you expect?
It's not the writers fault all this is happening, anywho- The writers had no choice in the matter. One way or another, Twilight would become an Alicorn, because Hasbro wanted it that way. It sells the toy line...
Truth. Anyway, don't we already have several threads on this subject that this could have been posted in, instead of making a new thread - I'm sorry - two new threads?
Yeah people are freaking out way to much, but then again, Ponies do scare rather easily XD. I'm not too worried, no matter what stupid demands Hasbro Makes, the writers will find their way to work with or around it, they genuinely care about the Quality of the show, so I know we will still get some awesome episodes in season 4!
