The point of "Science VS Magic" is for you to vote on who would win the fight, based on your knowledge of the characters and the commentary. As such, the whole "no headcanon" attitude is more tolerated there. I don't have a problem with rejecting headcanon when it comes to "Science VS Magic". It's in all the OTHER threads that I have a problem with. Just wanted to make that clear.
Look, Heimdall irritates me as well, but what I'm trying to say is that in "Science VS Magic", you vote on who do you think would win the fight. As such, it's the one place where Heimdall's train of thought is accepted. Yelling at him in this particular thread is just picking on him.
Sorry, but Heimdall is right. When people see something like "Science vs. Magic," they tend to assume that the writer knows what he's talking about. A headcanon that gives a character a non-canon advantage or disadvantage can easily sway the voting, especially if the voter is not familiar with the character.
*sigh* That's exactly my point, that's why I started this thread: to explain that Heimdall's mindset DOES work on "Science VS Magic", both on the site itself and in the threads.
