I know I have not been on the site for long and I really have not had the time to actually make a name for myself but I just want to say thank you to everypony. I tried to get involved with alot of other forums but so far this place is the best. Everypony here is so nice and cool. And I can finally reference mlp material without getting weird looks. But especially want to say thanks to the staff for looking out for the new guys.
As someone who was never legitimately into the show, I can say that the reason I have stayed here for so long is because the people here are worth staying for and interacting with. It's worth it. And I'm glad this community makes you feel comfortable.
I'd like to say thank you, as well. I have met a lot of good friends on Everypony! Mlp was introduced to me by my gf and has been a way for me to bond with her most of the time we've dated.
Fair enough. I never would have watched the show in the first place if not for the fascinating fandom.
That certainly helped me as well. I had thought bronies were pretty brave for going against soceital norms, but never expected to like the show myself. That changed when I actually watched it, though!
Well, this is the happiest community I know~ There something for everypony, even for those who merely enjoy the fandom more than the show or vise-versa~ Or maybe if you just like talking to other people online~ I like it here for the people for sure. I mean sure, I did also join for common interest of the show but good people to talk to about it is also important~
I can't argue with that - I've only been here a couple of days, if that, and I'm gobsmacked at how .... nice ... people are, in stark contrast from all the other forums etc. I've used for far longer than I care to remember (or is socially acceptable) Long may it continue ... ... back to my lurking
