(Iight, I'll try to think of something for the setting for minute.) In the dead of night, it was silent. All were as if it were at peace, but in the high mountains of the Recluse, there were chaos. Battle could be heard in the Recluse Temple, two foes fought for their life. One of these foes were kicked out if a window, falling and falling down the mountain. As he collided with the ground, he could only see white, then black. He awoke on the ground and in a crater. The man stood up, his deep blue battle armor having large cuts and gashes in it. His helmet had major cracks in it, showing signs of blood where it had leaked. He was human, but dead, and as he climbed out of the crater, he saw he in some town of a sort. (I am using my avatar for this )
A young girl with dark hair was the first to see what was causing all the commotion. After the dust settled it seemed safe to approach the crater. It was the size of a swimming pool! Slowly, the girl approached it and looked down inside. "What the hell? There's someone in there! Hello?"
Looking up, the figure began to walk up to the girl. From the smoke revealed his inhuman height, and his armor didn't help any. He was damaged, but not enough to keep him down. A large ball of fire came rushing towards the figure, the man not noticing it.
"Look out!" the girl shouted as both of them ducked. the fireball crashed into the same crater unleashing a storm of sparks and debris.
Another figure walked from the shadows, having similar armor to the man. It was a blood red armor with two blades sheathed to either side. The figure charged, and so did the man, grabbing his great sword out.
As the red armored figure tried slashing with both his swords, the man parried them with his great sword, then kicked the armored figure in the stomach. The figure recovered and tried rucking for the kill, only to get a sword through its stomach.
As the dust settled, only one of the warriors remained standing. The girl again approached the victor whose armor bore the scars of a hundred previous battles. "I'm Rockette," said the girl, "who are you?"
Kicking the dead body off of his sword, he only turned his head, having no response. Instead he walked away.
He grunted in frustration, and in a dark deep and cold voice, "Stay away if you don't want to get hurt little girl."
The young woman too was becoming frustrated with the warrior's curtness. "Why though? What is this all about? I think I have a right to know since I am a citizen here!"
He looked away into the night sky, remembering HER, "If you are the last standing, you will become a god. If you lose, you have your powers, family, honor and pride stripped from you, you will be left for dead."
Rockette looked back and surveyed the damage to the town caused by the warrior's impact. The flame were still burning and people could be heard screaming out for their loved ones. "And what about all the innocent people caught in the crossfire!?" Rockette was fully in tears and enraged at this point. Without thinking, she punched the warrior's armor, bloodying her knuckles.
"Then they die," He said coldly, "If the human race intervenes or is in the battle field... they simply die." He gather some wind energy and swiped his hand across in front of him, sending a huge wave of wind stopping the fire, "It is irrelevant that humans cease to exist."
