Okay, let me introduce myself. I'm a teenage pegasister from Louisiana who's been hopping from site to site to find some legitimate brony friends. Like tumblr, deviantART, etc, but they couldn't keep me for long. How about you? Let's start simple: how did you become a brony in the first place?

Same to you, my friend! I'm not really new to the herd. I've been a brony since January of 2012. And if I may ask, how can I make a Brony ID like yours?
It all started with a joke. I had a horse Webkinz, and I went into my mom's room and asked if she wanted it. She said yes. I decided to return with "No, it's My Little pony." Then I heard about bronies while watching a walkthrough of the game Skylanders. I looked up the word. I was VERY surprised that this existed. But just for laughs, I watched one episode. Me: "Wow. This actually isn't terrible." I watch another. And another. I finish S1. "I can't believe that I like this." I finish S2. "Oh my god." And now I'm a brony and I wear the title proudly.

Ha, that's actually a pretty fun way to get into it...I had a Webkinz once, but when I got another one as a Christmas gift a couple of years back, the code didn't work. But hey, you used it to a witty advantage. Okay my turn. I was browsing deviantART sometime during July-August 2011 and I found some pony fanart drawn by popular artist on the site. One of them was kevinbolk, in which I saw one of his "I'm My Own Mascot" comics with him as a pony along with the rest of the Mane 6. I saw the extreme interest it peaked within the comments, thinking it was all a huge joke built up for several months. One of the comments had a link to the first episode, and I watched the first five minutes in confusion before telling my brother about this crazy pony fad. We both watched the first episode together and we both became bronies. After a while my brother lost interest, but I still consider myself a fan because I simply find the brony fandom fascinating and enjoyable to be a part of. So yeah.
