I always found that a little bit disturbing when I was a kid, if I'm being honest. (shrug) Bugs Bunny was a huge part of my childhood. Speaking for myself, I don't think any of the remakes and continuations for Looney Tunes done in the past 30 years come anywhere close to the originals.
Yeah, trying to capture the old magic hardly ever works. Sadly, the Tom & Jerry stuff from the past 30-40 years suffered the same fate.
As a kid I never really cared about that sort of thing. I just liked the cartoons and wanted to watch them. I will admit that I rather liked Callie Briggs from Swat Kats, but that's as close as I've gotten to finding them "attractive", per se.
