Okay, *cracks knuckles and takes a sip of my root beer before beginning* Im a brony and have been for as long as I can remember. I have watched sites bloom and go down. I was on when that EPR roleplay site was up, then for some reason it died. My personaly opinions do not matter on this, for I am only 1 person. I have, however, gained a certain...human talent, to notice a good thing when it is here. Everypony, albeit it needs some work, is a very good thing. I dislike throwing my personal beliefs into business talk, but here anyways. I believe EPR can go a long ways if properly monitored and assisted. Everyone enjoys it here, there just needs to be more room to roleplay. I suggest an automatic window for colored font to differentiate that only the computer knows of. I also suggest that you borrow something from Skype where you can have multiple rooms opened by the person. You do realize we already have an entire section on the forums dedicated to roleplaying, which pretty much covers all the needs you mentioned? You're right. Roleplayers do enjoy it here, and the roleplaying parts of this forum are the only really active ones right now. That's why i personally think we should look into getting the rest of the forum just as active, and not focus on improving the roleplaying features at the moment. In my opinion, the roleplaying section is active enough as it is for the moment. Like Echoax said, there are plenty of people on this forum who don't enjoy roleplaying, and our main focus right now is making their experience on the forums equally enjoyable. We'll keep your ideas in mind, but the RP section just isn't our highest priority at the moment.
I agree with Rarit E. This is a rather large forum, and it is that fact alone that makes it difficult to make any one section THE most important section.
That's what I like about this place. I think it's much better for a forum to not have a dominant section. This way, every kind of brony is happy, such as the artists, gamers, role-players, and so on.
We have a large RP section on the forums, but I have witnessed the RP Chat gaining much use as well. I'll talk with the staff about the possibility of adding a 2nd RP Chat Room. Anyway, I think this thread has served its purpose. Thank you for your suggestion.
