Sara finished reading the script for her next role. Playing as a Undercover agent in a new TV series. She got changed and decided to just relax by her pool and go for a swim for a few hours. However that was rudely interrupted by her agent who said her training for the role got scheduled for today rather than the next week. She hung up the phone took a shower and got changed. Heading to a local shooting range for her first dose of training.
Nights had been reluctant to take on the new role that had been given to him. He was supposed to be a spy or something. He was reluctant because the last time he played a role like this he found himself becoming the character. It was kind of creepy. He assured his manager that he still remembered how to use a firearm but he was assured by his manager that it was mandatory to be trained again. "Fine," was all he could manage before slamming the phone in anger. "I guess it's time to hit the range," he thought grabbing his coat.
When she got there Sara was met by the instructor who informed her she needed to fill in some forms mostly due to safety stuff and that they would begin when her co-star got here. She signed off the forms and headed towards the vending machine to grab a diet pepsi.
Nights parked his bike in front of the building where he was supposed to be trained. He sighed as he hopped off and placed his helmet on the seat. He took a moment to look at the bike, he taken to calling it his own personal Night Fury. It goes so fast you can miss it in the blink of an eye and at night you won't even see it. Everyone told him how dangerous it is but he doesn't really care as he sadly doesn't have anything left to lose. He headed into the building, wanting to get this thing over with.
Sara noticed Nights come in and approached him. She put up a bit of friendly chat before they were ushered to the shooting range. When she got there she was taken to a table filled with the guns they would be training with, from your usual silenced Beretta M9 to M4 Carbines, Ballistic knives and four different spy weapons suited towards their characters. In Sara's case it was a point blank gun in a diamond ring and a lipstick pistol with usable lipstick. Finally she was given protective glasses and ear protectors and handed the silenced m9.
Nights, having put on his protective gear, contemplated shooting the instructor "accidentally" in hopes of getting to leave. He decided he'd at least have a little fun while he was there so he picked up one of the ballistic knives. He grinned as he popped the knife out, taking the blade by hand, and throwing it at the target down range. It hit about two inches from the bullseye. He did not approve. Sadly it looks like he was a bit in need of practice. He thought he'd take a look to see what his partner was up to so he turned to find out.
Kara was doing pretty okay with the pistol getting most shots around the third and second rings from the center. However the M4 was a different story, The recoil was definitly to much for her bruising her shoulder quite badly making it difficult to carry on using it.
Nights, with an inaudible sigh, retreated to the bathroom. Several moments later he returned with a big wadded up ball of tissue paper. He figured he might as well get on his partners good side, seeing as they'll be working together for awhile. He also couldn't stand to see her get hurt while the unapparent trainer was on duty. He approached Sara, tapping on her shoulder softly, "Excuse me, but this might help with the recoil." He held out the tissue paper with his right hand while using his left to point at his shoulder as if to indicate where it should go.
"Um, thanks, you know that instructor is useless. I may be an advocate for gun control but thats no way to just ignore me." She put the ball between the butt and her shoulder and it worked perfectly. She then went to pick up the lipstick gun which was in a shade of pink. "This is way to far too fire it. She then climbed over the shooting range and shot and reloaded every 10 yards to see the best distance to actually get a shot. It then turned out it had a maximum distance of 10. She then returned back and laid it down. Just after she tested its actual use as a proper lipstick. "Well thats me done. I hardly feel we'll get any actual training from that guy."
