Copper Mark left the Council chamber flustered, they seemed unwilling to maintain Mark Co's "royal approval", even the Council Members he funded their campaign for were unwilling to budge from a "no", "Mark Corporation's monopoly and control of Equestrian economy is over. Yea, right." he said to himself bitterly, "Equestria can't survive without Mark Co keeping its economy in order. Has it ever gone through recession under our watch? No. Has it ever done anything but grow? No!" he growled, but as much as he could complain, there seemed little he could do. After getting a reasonable distance from the chamber and was alone, he turned his head and almost yelled, "Let's see how you like depressions! Because that's what you are going to get if you break up Mark Co!" He sighed and slumped, trudging out of the building entirely. He may not be the public figure like his mom and grandmom was, but he still cared about the Equestrian economy and Mark Co, and he could only see a post-Mark Co Equestrian economy doing nothing but flounder and fail for quite some time..
Steel Heart sat in his classroom eating his lunch. The 45 minute lunchtime and two 15 minute breaks in the morning and afternoon was the only time he wasn't busy teaching, helping or demonstrating magic to the young gifted unicorns aged 6 to 18. He took a bite from the spicy hay wedges sandwich he made at home and looked at the empty classroom the first 10 minutes break was interrupted by him having to move all the tables to make way for a practical lesson the next period. He was about to teach a bunch of 12 year olds bubble shield spells so a large space was neccessary. Normally he would do it on the school fields outside however a certain proffessor felt the need to teach her 7 year old students how to levitate themselves and fly. He wasn't an expert in that field of magic but even he knew that was 14 year old material.
(Bump!) Star Storm had worked herself into submission. She was sitting in a revolving chair, laying face down on her desk. Papers were strewn across her desk. The alarm clock went off, waking her up. She opened her eyes slightly. "Uhhhh... What time is it?" She turned off the alarm and checked the time. "9:30... I need to deliver those books to the School for Gifted Unicorns in an hour." She got up and stretched, still half-asleep. Her horn glowed silver, and the papers on her desk were stacked, and coffee was made. She took a big gulp from her mug, and instantly felt more awake and aware. She gathered the books in her saddlebag, and walked out of her apartment. "I have time to stop by the cafe for breakfast. Might as well get a hash brown or some cereal..."
