It has been a whole year since the Human Invasion was defeated by the Elements of the Ancients and Harmony. Equestria once more is in peace and everypony continues their daily lives, but for how long this shall last, that is to be seen....
Firebreeze's mental state had improved since defeating the humans. He stopped isolating himself to his work and training and began to spend more time with friends and family.
Rashall had gone back to overseeing he Shadowed Forest and protecting both it's inhabitants and the secrets that lie with in it's twisting paths and tangled branches. Many do not know what had happened to him when the humans had attacked and many thought him either a coward or a pony that none could trust. Rashall though had been away perusing a lead on something that not event he humans could have foreseen.
Heron closed her eyes and felt the cool blow of the wind through her mane. She flapped her wings a few times to retain her altitude as she cruised lightly towards her destination. Ponyville wasn't particularly big, but this particular letter went all the way to the edge of the Everfree. It gave her time to enjoy the light beat of the sun on her fur. When she opened her eyes, she spotted the oddly shaped building just over the nearest hill in front of her. Heron's stomach suddenly growled and she made a nasty face. So much for relaxation, now she needed to eat. With the house fast approaching, she decided she could grab something after this delivery. The home swiftly came up to greet her, and she landed softly next to the mailbox. Opening it, she dropped the mail in and shut it with a dull "clank!" Getting a closer inspection to the house, she saw that it was surrounded by all kinds of animals and houses. 'Must be the home of a rancher,' she thought as she prepared herself for another liftoff. Shooting up off the ground, she located the nearest restaurant and took off.
Firebreeze walked to the Rough Rider's memorial, not to read the names, but to leave something. He was carrying his old Resistence helmet, and placed it on top of the memorial. 'One day I'll get you a real statue...' He thought with a smile.
(( First time so I might suck )) Gaze had wondered around in the town of Ponyvile he barley had any bits because of the trip he had to pay to get here he would have played his instrument but he couldn't play with a growling stomach he dragged himself onward deeper inside the town until he found a restaurant. The food looked wonderful he looked at his pouch he only had a hoof full of bits so he would waste all of his money at this place he shrugged and went inside there was a considerably short line but he was to hungry he went to the back of the line and started to hum one of his songs.
(Don't worry Gelat, just clean it up a bit. Think of it like you are writing a story with a bunch of other people.) Firebreeze heard Snow cough behind him, "Uh hello Firebreeze." she said quietly. She had reason to be reclusive around him in front of the memorial, her body had been hijacked in that time and used as 'The Commander' who killed, sometimes personally, those on that wall. "So, looking at the Wall in the Plaza again?"
Fire turned to Snow, "Yeah... I like to visit it every week to pay my respects to the soldiers I lead."
"Ah yes, of course." Snow said akwardly. Of course she herself didn't lead to those stallion's death, but her body had their blood on its hooves, "I always take a small stroll through Remembrance when I can, but with the kid and all, well, there's a reason me and Winter haven't been out much." Snow said.
Snow let a big breath of exasperation, hanging her head, "I don't even know where to begin, its almost worse than carry the little guy. We haven't a good nights rest in I don't know how long, but he's getting on along. Those moments, those firsts that we get to witness..." Snow looked up and smiled, "Well, they make it all worth it."
"I can only imagine." Fire said with a smile as he looked back at the helmet he placed on the monument for a moment.
Dark Shine woke up from his bed and decided to do a quick fly around later of Ponyville. As far as he was concerned, today is his day off, and nopony is going to say no. He got out of bed and stretched before going out to his balcony to take in the views. "Hmmm.... Nice day." He said to himself as he took in the view of Ponyville, smiling.
Snow was making her way through her garden towards her house when she heard Winter start yelling, "NO MIDNIGHT! DON'T...Annd you did anyways." Snow ran inside to a rather annoyed looking Winter plucking a very flourery Midnight of the floor. "Got into the pantry?" Snow asked. "Eeyup." he confirmed. "Well let's go get that stuff washed off him." and they made their way towards the bathroom.
Karl walked into Ponyville slowly, almost stumbling over to his side. His mane was frazzled, he was bleeding in many places, but worst of all, his front right leg was missing. "Bloody Clocky throwing me into that damn reactor... agh!" He's spat out blood through the clenched teeth as he stumbled inside the village. He looked around him, gathering horrified looks form everypony. "Ye... thought this was gonna drag attention." He started stumbling towards the nursery, bleeding all over the place. As he walked looked towards Snows house. "Heh, that damn filly... a named a damn attack after her name" He continued slowly stumbling towards the nursery. (Yes, i can do those things to Karl if i want to. Everypony who can facehoof, DO IT NAO!)
(Jeez, hate to be your OC. anyways, that last part was a bit confusing 'a named a damn attack after her name.' do you mean 'They named a damn attack after her'?) After washing the flour from Midnight's fur, they managed to get him back into the playroom, after which they both quickly collasped on counches in the living room, "My Celestia this is exhausting." Snow muttered. "Preaching to the choir honey." Winter replied.
Dark Shine spotted Karl walking through the streets, injured, and missing a leg. He flew down. "Hey, are you alright? Wait... Your that pony from befoer aren't you! Wait... What happened to you leg? And where are you going?"
Karl stumbled through the double doors, letting out a painful "Help?" two seconds later he was laying on a hospital bed, with the bleeding not stopping, and his vitals going slowly down. "You're sadly not gonna make it. I'm sorry." The nurse said to him. Karl started laughing at the nurses obviousness. "Hah! No, you dont say! Alright, can you gather my friends to this way if you can, i think it's... The Elements of the Ancients or something. I want to say my goodbye before i supposedly "die"." Karl looked at the nurse with a contempted face, and switched to the window beside him. "I just... just wanna say my goodbyes to everyone." He looked over to Darkshine and simply said, "The 43rd Clockmaker, thats what happened."
