I agree with this. Takeing away some fun thins we have can only make site boring and chase away members. Beside, big deal of fanbase come from memebase or sites like that, and you won't find them being carefull of what's family friendly, and what isn't. Let's face it, if kids are able to come and register here, there's great chance that anything that we post, they already saw someplace else. I mean, you want to protect 8 year old kid who goes here, and then goes play cod on xbox live and heares lot of stuff. I'm sure any youngster that came to ep, meaning he's around brony community some time before joining, meaning he probably won't have hearth attack over something we post
Welcome to LOCP III the third installment of the revived LOCP. This one takes place many years after the Pain Disaster and Midnight has grown to an teenage colt. What will lie in store for the aging Elements will remain to be seen. (Aka, this takes place about ten years after LOCP II)
During the 10 years that have passed, Arrows had became a world class archer. He still wasn't happy though, he and his friends had yet to bring pain to justice.
Firebreeze had begun to isolate himself to work and training once again out of guilt. He felt incapable of doing anything except his job since Canterlot went boom. He sat on a mountain top one day, thinking about all that has happened in his life and what he has become.
Snow, Winter, and Midnight stood at the gate to Remembrance Plaza, the newest most visible monument inside always struck the deepest cord in them. It was plainly a black and gold wall, with the gold making out the Canterlot skyline and different shading to make it look like you where looking at a blacked out version of the city. Upon it was the names of each pony in Canterlot at the time of the blast, and whether they survived, or died. As they approached the monument, the extra shading in the wall could be seen making out the explosion behind the city, showing the massive mushroom cloud that was seen over all of Equestria. The list was much longer than it had any right to be, and the dead were in-numerable. One estimate puts it at over twenty-thousand lost souls, which meant only 100 ponies survived the blast. Snow took a big gulp as she pressed her hoof to the wall, she could almost feel that last scream of terror right before the countdown had hit zero. Those numbers still rang in her head today.
Through the 10 years Gaze had been teaching ponies on how to play any instrument he created a school for ponies who wanted to learn music Gaze had mastered every instrument and almost anypony knows that he is a musical genius. Gaze exited his room and looked at the rebuilt Canterlot and memories from Pain hurt his head he went back inside his home to make new music.
Firebreeze eventually walked through town and through the plaza. He hated the place anymore, it brought back memories of weakness and anger.
Winter put a hoof on Snow's shoulder, "Let it go Snow, this is exactly what Pain wants to happen, Dark told me that he fights with more than just physical pain, he specializes in physiological pain. Because of that, I let it go, and you need to two dear." Snow closed her eyes and clenched her jaw, "I know."
Firebreeze walked over to the Rough Riders' monument for the first time in years. He looked up at the top, his old helmet was still there. He never got around to the statue, and quite frankly, he stopped caring after awhile.
Dark walked around New Canterlot, ever since Pain, she's had a slight limp in her step from a broken leg that wasn't set quick enough. Since Pain, she's also had the guard be a lot more cautious around Canterlot, or anywhere for that matter. Ponies where no longer allowed to go around in public with their identities covered, etc, etc, etc. Oh yes, and she was now Commander of the Royal Guard, a post that she honestly didn't care for and only took it for two reasons, a, she was the best qualified for the job and she knew it, and b, so she could find Pain. As she was walking down the streets, still obviously freshly paved, a guard captain ran up to her, "Mam! We've got 'im!" he said excitedly, but out of breath, "What! Where?!" she asked. "Follow me mam!" and as they ran, Dark felt more alive then she's felt in ten years, it was time to finish what Pain had started.
Over the ten years, Dark Shine tried to forget his past. He moved his cloud into the Everfree forest, and appeared to never come out. He felt failure for all that time. Failure to protect others. Failure to do as he was determined. But most of all, he failed everyone. Most nights he would go out onto his balcony, and whisper to the wind. Tonight, he skipped that, and instead just fell asleep.
Karls eyes bolted open. He began laughing hysterically. The crater around him had stopped oozing. "Hahahaha! I bucking love Lithians!" He said. Back at the castle, he had put a protection spell designed against death scenarios. The explosion had however sent him into a mountain, rendering him into a 10 year "sleep". He ripped out his arms from the stone and began walking to the entrance. "Aaah! Bright lights!" He covered his eyes from the light enveloping him as he stepped out in the world. He looked around him and saw where he was. "I HAVE BLOODY SURVIVED YOU MOTHERBUCKERS, aaahhhahhahaha!" He cried out, hoofs in the air. He then lost his balance and started tumbling down the mountain.
A group of over one thousand had gathered at the edge of the Shadowed Forest all of them warriors. The forest was to dense to plant any new tree's and there were five that needed to be planted now. The saporlings would mark the place of great honored warrior of the Angels of Armageddon or one of the many fighting forces that fought alongside them. Things had not only gone bad in Equestria but in the land of Nekar as well, more specifically the Shadowed Forest. For the past four years Rashall and his angels had been fighting chaos forces trying to make their way into Equestria so far they had been stayed off as they were only a small force and whom ever had brought them into the world was weak at best. The group arrived at a large open topped hill at least two and half miles from ponyville it was a half way point between the town and the Shadowed Forest. The trees were planted in the ground and the ceremonies commenced, Rashall took out a large book and opened it to where the five names had been etched with fresh ink. The thousand strong warrior force resplendent in their armor knelt onto the soft grass and bowed their heads knowing what was coming next. "Oh my fallen brothers and sisters let me repeat thy names one more time," says Rashall standing at the head of the group the book supported on a small pillar of oak, "Golden Dew," a pause in which a thousand hooves and hands tap out on breast plates above the hear, "Clearskies, Iron Forge, Swift Runner, and Suns Herald. Remember thy dead brother and sister," says Rashall the warriors following up with, "Forever shall thy name withstand the force of time." Rashall then continues to sound off the names of the dead from previous battles giving respects to those who came and fought before after each name comes the rapport of the thousand hooves and hand tapping out a solem tempo that echos for miles in either direction.
Dark entered a dark room, with a single light highlighting a familiar orange pony weighed down by a massive amount of chains, "Pain." she snarled. Pain looked up, and in his eyes was, not anger, not fear, not murder, but pleading, which caught Dark off guard. "Ah, so my old comrade enemy returns to finish the job." he said mournfully? "But before you do what we both know is coming comrade, will you let an old Russian give his last words?" Dark sighed, "Go ahead, but be quick about it." Pain slightly chuckled, "Even after all these years, you are still the same angry little mare that I beat to a pulp in that square. You really need to learn to lighten up comrade! But alas, I must say what I was to say so I will keep it brief; To put it blatantly comrade, I'm tired of this, all the running, all the killing. You know, it's fun for awhile but eventually it gets, what's the word I am looking for...boring, to say the least. It got to a point were it was just find, break, kill, repeat, over and over and over again, do you have any idea how boring that is comrade?" "Get on with it!" Dark spat. "Alright, alright comrade, whatever you say. Anyways, before I go, I must leave with you some words of wisdom to help you along the way; 1: Don't get caught doing the same thing over and over comrade, I made that mistake and I regret it, just like the Canterlot incident. Oh yes comrade, I am deeply troubled about what happened on that day, you see, I only like to kill my targets, no collateral, are you keeping up with me comrade? Ok, anyways 2: Enjoy the little things in life, as they are the only things you will find to keep you comfort even in the darkest of times, find something, and hold onto it comrade, never let it go like I did. And 3: Do not fight with anger comrade, that is why I was able to fight so well. I taunted not out of self bravado, but to make you angry comrade. When you are calm, and your enemy is angry comrade, you will almost certainly win. Now, with me little wisdom out of the way, shall we get on with the business at hoof comrade? For I do not blame you if you kill me comrade." Pain hung his head back down. Dark drew out her rifle, holding it in her wings, anger seething through her, but something kept her from pulling the trigger and doing the deed. What Pain had said rang through her ears, Do not feel anger comrade, she could almost hear him in her mind. She took a few deep breaths, thought about it, then dropped her gun, "No, I can't do it, not with you like this, it feels...wrong." she said, then she went up to Pain and whispered to him, "Enjoy your life in prison bastard." and walked out of the room.
The battered and bent armour of the Element of Luck sits on a manaquin in the Canterlot treasury. It's been rather well looked after by the staff here as it sat and collected dust between cleans over the decade. Aparently, there was a very heated argument about what to do with it between at least two princesses. It was a toss up between dumping it on a museum or keeping it near-by incase the Elements were needed. Or at least, if the next Element of Luck appeared. As you can see, Luna managed to win. She got to keep the recovered armour of her former opprative. Celestia insisted that the possession of an exile be locked away out of sight. She also wanted to know where the extremely dangerous necklace that Tyro had arrived with, had gone. The last it had been seen, Sulphy had dropped it off. Firebreeze had the highly dangerous object last.
Karls hooves beat the ground as he galloped forward. He had gotten a little beat up from the fall, but it was nothing comparing to how good he felt. He reached the fields and looked around, breathing the fresh air. He had been reborn and it had gone years since his last kill, he needed new, fresh blood. As he galloped towards Ponyville his axe, hatchet and knife started materializing on him, through fire. "It's time Ponyville! To taste my rampage!" He shouted as he charged to it. This was gonna be a fun time, atleast for him. The first target: Berry Punch.
As Gaze was about to finish his music Gaze heard a scream in terror and made him jump Gaze looked through his window to see Karl the pony from 10 years ago the pencil in Gaze's mouth broke. He got out his Star Bubbles and went outside to find Karl about to kill someone "Hey Maniac why don't you fight someone that can defend themselves!?" Gaze yelled.
Arrows saw Karl. "This lunatic?! Come on!" Arrows readied a arrow tipped with manticore poison and fired it at Karl
Snow and her family was making their way home when she suddenly felt something coming in from Dark. They had become extremely adept at using the link between them, often times holding entire conversations hundreds of miles apart. She felt that this was a memory transit, so intrigued, Snow stopped to watch it. She watched Dark's encounter with Pain, and as soon as it ended, a smile spread across her face, "Winter, they caught Pain." she said, "We have to go tell the others!" Winter, knowing of his wife's connection with the Commander of the Royal Guard, knew to trust her, but Midnight was simply confused, he simply took it as his mom had really good instincts. The three ran off to tell the other Elements living in Ponyville.
The arrow had hit him, but Karl couldn't notice, the pain was numbed. The axe blade had gone right through Berrys throat, decapatating her completely. He grabbed the arrow and ripped it out, looking at Gaze with a bewildered look. "I like to take my victims by surprise, you know." He turned around and bolted for the house infront of him and jumped, grabbing the edge and hauling him up. After, he began galloping like a madman towards Darkshines house. Next target: Darkshine. If not, then Derpy.
