Eyes: light blue, their gaze is confident, inquisitive, almost challengingly so, as though saying “Come on, what world-shattering conundrum do you have for me to ponder today?” Cutie Mark/Special Talent: A lit light bulb, signifying a talent for coming up with innovative and creative ways to apply spells (to prevent powermodding, he plays a game with himself where he always uses the simplest possible spell to accomplish a task, and all such spells must have their underlying principles explained. Example: instead of using a firelighting spell on a candle, he'd use a levitation spell to vibrate tiny particles of the wick together to create friction) Occupation: Professor at Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, teaches a course in Creative Spell Applications Background: Grew up in the coastal trading city of Baltimare, a very diverse environment due to all the strange species who crewed the ships that would come in, making him very accepting of those who are different. After graduating himself from Celestia's School, he spent some time trying various fields of magical research, but quickly grew frustrated at how close-minded the other unicorns were in how they used their magic. Spent some time doing more experimental research (such as trying to turn gemstones into storage devices for magical energy), but the dangers of such research quickly discouraged him. Eventually decided that the best way to change how unicorns used their magic would be to teach the next generation, and so appealed to the dean of the School to let him teach a course in finding creative ways to apply spells. It quickly became a favorite among students due to how creative the lessons were and how open-ended and interesting they were. Other relevant information -He is extremely observant and analytical. He sees EVERYTHING. While he is limited to things explicitly stated in posts or physical appearances in character profiles, he can do incredible things with a small amount of information. -At some point during his past, he acquired a mysterious item he lets no one see. It is contained in a box protected by layers upon layers of wards and protections. It is something very private to him, and I swear that I will tell Snow what it is and get permission before actually using it. Even so, I'm reluctant to leave it out altogether, as it is an integral part of my mental image of him, as is his extreme reluctance to show it to anyone or reveal its existence. It is not something embarrassing or illegal, but he has a great deal of incentive to prevent anyone knowing about it.
Hm...Make it a little harder for him to do certain spells (after all, no unicorn is proficient in ALL spells, even Twilight), and overall he's fine (this post is BEFORE he tells me anything about the box)

just... how do i put this... he can see any "possible event" in his head i guess is it basically? but since so much variation exists between real possibilities and "a gryphon flies in out of nowhere and eats a cupcake on the villains head" that are all technically possible that's where his "ridiculous tangents" come from. hope that explains it.
So basically, he sees like all the possible ones, even the most ridiculous ones? Hm, I think I'm good with that as long as he doesn't see the right one at all the right times.
