Since I don't live in the US I can't sign the petition. Notice that copyright lobbyists but lobbyists nonetheless are the ones pushing for this through congress. As long as there are lobbyists, lobbying for laws in the interests of their clients will only continue. What I'm saying is that unless we start attacking at the deeper levels, **** like SOPA is only going to crop back up like ****ing weeds. Going off timing my own signature earlier and Ridley's some napkin math shows me that it's averaging about ~200 signers per 30 minutes, which if continuing that trend from the time of this post will only be about 32,000 signatures by March 19th which will come up short of the quota. Needs to be made noticed more.
You know, it was only HOURS ago that I even found out about this! I had no idea the petition was around since February o__o
