As of Now. Most of my friends know i watch this show and draw fan art of the show and post them on DA (DeviantArt). Some of my friends are bronies and some are not. Most of my friends love my work and Don't care i watch it. But one of my oldest friends i've had since 2nd grade, Can't Stand this Show. He hates this show, so much that when i posted the Pony shirt shot on DA, He couldn't believe what he saw. He was more annoyed that he told me " you got to be kidding me, it's a kids show." To be Technical, Yes. It was meant for a young audience but the grand majority of this show is watch by males of the ages of 15-30 and women 18-30. So i really did was showed that it's was a great show and you shouldn't point fingers if you never witness a episode from the show. He got angry with me, cause he thinks it's F-ing Stupid. I started spreading the love with him and love and tolerated him and he just lost and i won the argument with him. I told him not continue the argument or it will be invaild and I win. So i Did. In the End of The Argument (which i wish never started), told him that "Your Living in a Brony Nation, Love and Tolerate. Join the Herd." I love my friend, even tho he is hard headed sometime...well...most of the time but i'm his only friend that didn't abandon him. So he really need to change. Become Open, then Closed and Stop with his Angry issue, Hate, Racist (I'm no Racist which i hate it about him), and Cursing like wild fire.
It will find its own way to him, you don't have to force ponies on anyone. Although, you are certainly shoving him in the right direction.

I'm sure it will to him and Maybe i did force a little but then again i love see that boy angry. It's funny to me since him gos all out whack when it he get angry when it comes to most things in life and not just this show. I Just like him to sit down and just watch one Episode of the show. if he like then Yay, for me but then if not then it's okay with me. Hmm, it's a shame he isn't open minded enough to accept it... But at least, he doesn't seem like he's hating or anything. Best of luck with trying to convert him, however; I hope you succeed. It might just be my ignorant opinion due to only seeing the conversation online, but I don't think you need to worry.. In the end, you two are friends after all. Nothing should change that, particularily when you've been friends for so long.

I try to convert friends I feel will enjoy it. The majority of my friends, I feel, will not. While I'd love to share the fandom and talk about it, it's just not for everyone. I continue for the friends I feel will eventually cave, but I try not to be so direct and constant in my approach.
I don't even bother trying to convert anyone. I like it, that's all that really matters within my social circle. Luckily for me, my best friend is a brony. However, I have no intentions in trying to bring them into the fandom. I see it like this. Most of my friends are into rock music, whereas I'm not. I wouldn't like it if they tried to get me to listen to it, considering they know I don't like that sort of music. They like their music, and they have other friends to talk to about it, so they don't need me to listen to it as well.
I don't like forcing stuff on people cause i like it, so i let it just take it's course. My First friend i got when i was a infant at the time is a brony and after him seeing all this on my facebook and DA, he got curious and now he's one. He said at first he was into it a little but after while he was having it bad as me. He's the best and a true friend in my opinion, but i see what you mean Lupr.
