lucy starsong, the lost alicorn Alicorns, only three currently exist. The princesses, Luna and Celestia and me. 17 years ago I was found on the doorstep of a wealthy family in canterlot who took me in as their own. From my first day in school I was different. The others were bigger than me, Alicorns age slower than other ponies so I appeared to almost be a toddler to them though I was the same age. As I looked around the classroom I noticed unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies, but no Alicorns. “Class I would like to introduce you to Miss Lucille starsong, now I” Miss sundrop became silent as she looked down to meet my gaze. The class shared the same stunned silence. “Well class let’s try to make our new friend as comfortable as possible.” She choked out, still staring at me. I felt my heart pound as the silence was broken by the murmurs of the class. Suddenly a shocked cry echoed out. “She disappeared!” I lifted my hoof and gasped as I looked upon thin air. I fled from the classroom, tears streaming down my cheeks. I ran across the school grounds until I tired out and lay myself down in front of a tall oak tree sobbing quietly. “Why was I born like this? Why can’t I be normal?” I continued to cry softly until I grew too tired to stay awake. I nuzzled my nose under my pale blue wing and fell asleep. When I awoke it was lunchtime. I used my horn to remove leaves from my black and blue streaked mane. Seeing no point in staying, I decided to go home. As I glided over the school grounds I looked down at all the other ponies, I still didn’t see an Alicorn. I went through school craving companionship and anypony to reach out to me. The isolation went on for years until one day, on the day of my 17th birthday I was called to the palace. Worried I was in trouble I nervously climbed the palace steps. Inside the walls of the castle I was greeted by the princesses, Luna and Celestia. “Hello Lucy, my you are a pretty young Alicorns don’t you think sister?” Celestia commented.” Yes sister, Lucy do you know why we called you?” I shook my head. “No princess did I do something wrong?” Celestia started to speak “we called you here because an Alicorn like you has a reservoir of magical energy. A creature like you or I come around every few hundred years and it can be dangerous to have magical energy like that all bottled up inside a pony. At first it is invisibility but if you don’t find a purpose soon somepony could be hurt.” I looked back at my blank flank. Luna continued where her sister left off. “We have arranged for you to stay with a student of my sisters, her name is twilight sparkle. She lives in ponyville.” “We both think the change from the hustle and bustle of canterlot will help. All your past teachers have told us you seem lonely. Don’t worry, the ponies in ponyville are quite friendly.” My hopes momentarily brightened. Perhaps the princesses were right, ponyville could be a new start, but wait who’s to say this twilight sparkle and her friends will not shun me like all the others? “So Lucy will you go to ponyville?” I nodded, my face determined. “If it means a new start then yes I will. He offers as much help as he can with others. Even though he is talkative, he hardly makes any friends. And though other ponies enjoy what he does, he doesn't brag about his talent. He is a Pegasus that doesn't indulge in fighting easily, but will if he (or anything he cares about) is insulted. He is Brave to fight against what he seems isn't right. In his past (Which he hardly likes to talk about) he was abandoned at a young age. He never knew his parents and never knew if he had other family. He was later found by some pony in an unknown town. He was always picked on there when he was going through school cause the school he went to had earth ponies and unicorns, but no other Pegasi but him. That's where his "Not making much friends" came from. After he grew up to the teenage years. He discovered his talent and got his cutie mark. The only problem, he created a big windstorm that blew most of the town into a mess. So he found his talent in a bad way (Which was an accident). The ponies in that town soon sent him off for the safety of that town. Now he lives in Ponyville, where he enjoys his life with the friends he has (Or tries to get). How he meet Rainbow Dash: Ok so he meet Rainbow Dash when he was doing his tricks while clearing the clouds away. That's when Rainbow Dash all of a sudden came in and messed him up. He wasn't really happy about that, but instead of letting it go, he held a grudge on her. Not talking to her, being mean to her. They both started to hate each other left and right. They started to get competitive with each other, trying to see who's the best, but that only caused more of a rivalry between the two. When it was the 1000 anniversary of the Summer Sun Celebration, Nightmare Moon escaped. Angered by the kidnap of the princess, he went out ahead to search for her, but he couldn't find her. That's when he ran into Rainbow Dash and her other friends. He insisted on going but Rainbow Dash denied. They both got into a fight, which awoke a bear nearby (way before they ran into that lion like creature). That's when Flash Wind saw that this war they had between each other needed to stop. So he told Rainbow Dash and the others to go on ahead while he held back the bear, injuring himself in the process while scaring the bear away. He couldn't fly for a while. Soon he saw that it was day time again. After a while, while he was trying to get back to Ponyville by walking (While injured), Rainbow Dash came back and saved him. He was sent to the hospital and then Rainbow Dash and her friends all went back to the castle to be thanked and honored for there heroism. When Rainbow Dash returned to visit Flash Wind. He said sorry to her, for everything he said and did. That's when they became friends. Now He does friendly competitions against Rainbow Dash. Even though he knows her and her friends will be great hero's if Ponyville is in need of one, but he is also there to help them.

Spike, as always was cleaning up after her mess. "So when do you think the new Alicorn will come?" Spike asked as he shelved the book of "The Elements Of Harmony A Reference Guide". "I don't know Spike. All I know is that One, there is a new Alicorn in Ponyville and two, that the princess sent her here" she said. She continued to read, getting lost in her book. A light breeze blew into her library lightly as she smiled a bit. She was too busy studying up that she forgot to enjoy some of the day. Her ears then twitched as he heard a faint yell. "Spike? Do you hear that?" she asked. "Hear what? The yelling?" Spike asked. "Yea, and it sounds like it's getting louder. *AHHH!, BANG!, CRASH!, THUMP!* As a Pegasus flew in and crashed into Spike and then the shelves as the books fell on top of the two. Twilight turned her head fast to see what had happened. The books moved around a bit as Spikes head popped out of the pile. He looked like he was in somewhat of a daze. Then he shook his head. "Ow..." Spike mumbled rubbing his head. "You ok Spike?" Twilight asked. Spike only nodded in agreement. Then the book pile started to move next to Spike. "AH! A MONSTER!" Spike yelled as he zoomed out of the book pile and hid behind Twilight. Then a ponies head popped out. He groaned lightly, rubbing his head. "Ow!" he grumbled, wincing. His coat was brown and his hair, scruffy (A good kind of scruffy), slightly long, and brown and white. "Really Flash!? Look what you did!" Twilight snapped at the Pegasus called Flash Wind. "GEAH!" Flash Wind yelled out, jumping from being startled by Twilight Sparkle. After seeing it was her he calmed down a bit. "Um... Sorry?" he said with somewhat of an embarrassed look on his face. Twilight just sighed. "Great, just great. I have a guest coming over and RD's closest friend just crash lands inside my home. Perfect" Twilight said to herself out loud. "Um... you know I'm here right?" Flash said, his face going to a somewhat blank look. Twilight just glared at him, he wasn't helping. Flash just sighed, looking at Spike. "Sorry Spike. I was trying a new move and messed up" Flash said to him. "It's alright" Spike replied. Flash Wind stepped out of the book pile, expanding his big wings as he checked them. They were fine. He folded them back, looking at Spike. "I'll help you clean that mess up" Flash said as both Flash Wind and Spike started to clean up the books. Then the door knocked as Twilight came up to open it, seeing her guest. "Oh you're here, come on in" she said using her magic to open the rest of the door. ((Lucy: Your turn))
at the door opened lucy saw twilight for the first time. the unicorns lack of surprise was refreshing. "h-hi m-my name is lucyy, yyou must be twilight sp-parkle." lucy said her voice shaking. "you so small, the princess told me you were almost an adult." twilight sparkle commented, leading lucy into her home. "a-alicorns age more s-slowly than normal ponies, i s-should reach your size in another twenty y-years" twilight led lucy upstairs to where the crash had taken place. "this was going to be your room but SOMEPONY was being clumsy while he was practicing." lucy noticed flash in the room and gasped hiding behind twilight and turning invisible for good measure.
Flash Wind took a look at the guest that came in. He saw that she instantly jumped behind and hid behind Twilight, and then turned invisible. Flash Winds eyes widened a bit. 'Wow! An Alicorn that can disappear.' he thought to himself. He saw how shy (or scared) she was. 'Hmmm must have been her past, maybe school.' he thought to himself. Then his past memories flashed through his mind. He blinked a bit snapping out of it as he continued to help spike with cleaning up. He opened his big wings, taking to the air as he flew around with some books, putting them away, a light breeze of wind following behind him.
"come on out Lucy, the only harm he has caused is to your room. he wont bite." Lucy became visible and came out from behind twilight. "h-hi my n-name is lucy starsong. w-whats your name?" lucy shyly asked the large pegasus, fascinated by his big wings.
Flash Wind landed, flapping his wings a bit as the light breeze vanished, he folded his wings back. He turned, looking at Lucy with his water blue eyes. "I'm Flash Wind" he said in a calm way. He walked up to her, stopping in front of her, lowering his head to equal to hers. He could see how she was feeling. "It's fine, I know how you feel, I've gone through the same thing" he said calmly as if knowing already about what she had gone through. He lifted his head going back to Spike to help. " What did you mean by you have gone through the same thing?" Twilight asked. Flash Wind stopped. "Um... nothing of importance to you" he mumbled, grabbing a book and shelving it.
lucy became a bit angry by the comment. "i dont believe you have." lucy dropped her saddle bag and walked toward the door. "twilight do you wish to show me around town or would you like my help cleaning first?"
Flash Wind looked back at Lucy, then he went back to shelving the last of his books. "You'll find out what I mean overtime" he mumbled quietly. Twilight only looked at Flash Wind. She hated it when he hid things from him. "Um... sure, I'll show you around " she said smiling. "Spike, you can stay here" she said. "Alright" Spike replied.
twilight began showing lucy around town. "this is sugarcube corner, i believe pinkie pie is throwing you a welcome party later." lucy, who had been growing more and more angry about the comment flash had made, quickly replaced her anger with surprise. "a p-party? for me?" twilight replied, "yes parties are kinda her thing, now over her is carousel boutique. rarity loves fashion. later i will introduce you to all the other ponies. can i ask a question? you seemed a bit mad when we left is everything okay?" they had reached fluttershys house and had walked part way back to the library. "i'm fine twilight. nothing to w-worry about." they had reached the library. "well why dont you come in and unpack?"
When they entered, Flash Wind was playing "Bouncing Madness" against Spike. It was spikes turn as he shot his ball on the board. It weaved around Flash Winds markers and hit his ball as it scored in a hole, one point for Spike. Flash wind focused, looking at his surroundings and shooting his ball. His ball weaved around and dodged Spikes Markers, knocking all of his balls into the holes. Flash Wind won. "Dang it! You're good" Spike said. "Eh... it was just a lucky shot" he said. He turned his head to see Twilight and Lucy. Her room was clean and spotless. Flash Wind gave a slight smile towards her. Then he went back to conversing with Spike.
lucy entered the room, her anger returned pushed her way past flash,(which is hard when your as small as a filly) and began unoading her saddle bag. suddenly lucys horn began to glow. lucy began screaming as she was dragged out the broken window by her horns magic.
"Lucy!" Twilight yelled. "I'm on it!" Flash Wind called to Twilight as he took to the air and out of the open window, flying high as he watched were Lucy was going. He knew that he couldn't stop her cause her magic was dragging her. He wasn't that much of a Pegasus to mess with magic. He watched her like a hawk.
