i mean thik about it,the big sister gets a job where everyone enjoys what she does,depends on it,and couldnt live without while the younfger one gets the leftovers of cleaning up after her sister,where ponies just take her gift fro granted and go to sleep i mean i would be a bit annoyed to,and then in the end all celestia does to make up for sealing her little sis who had a temper tantrum in the moon,is hug her,it makes no sense!
You are never justified in becoming a power-crazy megalomaniac. Just because you want a bit of attetnion doesn't justify trying to shroud the world in eternal night. She should have done things to make the night more appealing, instead of flipping out. that is all.
I'm still confused as to the whole Nightmare Moon thing. Was it the alter ego of Luna? Was she possessed by Nightmare Moon? I've never really understood it.
nightmare moon was all of lunas anger,sadness,and alot of other things amlified,overwhelming her,transforming her into a corrupt version of celstia basically actually,that might make a good fanfic,to microsoft office word!
Maybe not BUT she did not derserve 1000 years on the moon I mean that couldn't have helped she most likely needed some L&T.
@Luprony Agreed, I want to do work. can't wait to see how they deal with Luna in Season 2. If they completely write off her history and ignore what happened, I will rage.

well, why do you think they call her Trollestia? (along side many other things). Well, Celestia could introduce night life to Equestria and problem would be solved (you know, night clubs, fun life), but banishing Luna to moon on 1000years wasn't ok. I kinda understand how that could build up frustrations and anger inside Luna/Nightmare Moon.

Me and Zephyr are fiction mods, so if you submit it to the fic section, we have to read it anyway. If there are any problems, we'd of course point them out to you and help you improve.
Oh, please. This kind of interpretation of Celestia irks me to no end. Luna's jealousy OVERCAME her, and she was unwilling to lower the moon. We all know that any planet with remote similarities to ours can't survive without sunlight. She could have KILLED EVERYONE. Not to mention that Celestia TRIED to reason with her first. This is explained in black and white during the first episode's intro. Celestia didn't WANT to banish her, she HAD to to keep everypony safe. Not only that, but it was MEANT to be an ETERNAL banishment, which probably sent Celestia into an even DEEPER guilt-spiral than was necessary. Not to mention this is the only friend with whom she can hold a conversation and have a meaningful relationship (sorry, Philomena) who WON'T DIE OF OLD AGE ON HER. Luna got a raw deal, yes. But what happened was a tragedy for everyone involved. Don't crap on Celestia until you've walked a little in her horseshoes.
