She takes he job verry seriously and does it with honor. After working her way up through the ranks she is now Nightmare Moon's son, Lunar Shield's, Right- Hoof pony. Eyes: Deep Blue slit eyes Mane and tail: A bit rough looking blue mane and tail but still somewhat adorable (Lack of better words) Body: Average Mare size Cutie Mark: Blue Crescent moon inside a yellow round shield Wears: Night-guard captain's armor
Ok thats fine but i do need to correct one tiny booboo on your end if you dont mind if your saying nightfang is a mare shouldnt she be a daughter? or backwards if a son?(stallion) Name: Laughing lake Gender: Mare Pony: Earthpony with unicorn like powers but they are limited to spirits and ghosts BIO:laughing lake wasnt at first called 'laughing lake' In Abenaki tribal tradition they were given a name first based on what their parents wished to call them. Her father and mother called her 'Little big mouth' because when she was a baby she was so loud many ponies can hear her. Even the buffalo tribe were visiting out of concern when they pass. Eventually as 'little big mouth' got older people teased her name and say that since she was named after a fish she should stay by a lake. And even when she did they laughed at the poor filly. It got to the point where she asked the shaman why they tease her.The shaman replied calmly "My child they only tease you because you are small..like a lake..just a fish in its home. not big like the ocean but always relying on the river for the river is its only friend and knows what it can do." Little big mouth seeing this was her chance to be renamed does the most risky thing. With her friend Red feather,they go to the spirit lake at night. Little wanted to prove she was brave to be respected even if its a little respect. Red feather encourages her on this but also tried to convince her to leave because she knows spirit lake is haunted. That was when the mist appeared. Red feather wanted to run however was loyal to little and guarded her.Thar was when little saw her ancestors.. red couldn't see them all she saw was mist and heard rustling and noises she couldn't explain. They told little it was foolish for her to be here but they were proud of her for realizing her real name that the shaman gave her. For bringing friendship to a dark place,she had learned of her power to see spirits and she promised her ancestors that she will help other ponies find closure in time of need.Unaware her power might stir trouble. Eyes: deep brown oval eyes Mane and tail: A bit rough looking black mane and tail due to that she travels alot but with brushing it looks elegant Body: Average Mare size Cutie Mark: Blue lake with some mountains and spirits singing near it(I know its not on my cutiemark logo but im editing it later) Wears: a cloak when wishing to hide since spirit mediums get bad names.

~ok then we shall begin!~ Lake was wandering to a new town after helping some dragons get comfort that their leader was killed in a accidental rock slide. one dragon told her before she left to be careful, that this power might attract the wrong people. lake chuckled at the thought of it but groaned when shewas hungry. She saw a village nearby of bat ponies and thought since she had gems and some bits she can get some food. As she walked into town many ponies stared at her.
Nightfang was getting ready for her grandmother Luna's arrival when she saw the little Earthpony. She landed in front of lake and said "Hello welcome to Bat Villiage i am Captain Nightfang. How can we help you?"
Lake hesitated a bit ad some of her black mane got in her face. "Oh um i was just hungry andi thought i could rest for the night and a spirit guided me here so.." one of the bat ponies laughed at the fact she sees spirits. she decided to introduce herself "Im laughing lake."
lake nodded and followed.her eyes glowing every coupe of seconds showin wounded bat ponies in armor talking about a war. she shook it off to not make a scene but knew this area had a darker story.
"We are preparing fo my dadPrince Lunar Shield's arrival." Nightfang said "We serve Princess Luna as her personal guards......" She trailed off for a sec.
She looked at the female batpony and she couldnt hide her talent and her eyes glowed infront of her. there were just to many injured ponies that wanted an answer. "I-its okay if you dont wanna talk about it."
"Its fine just Luna hasn't been herself latly." Nightfang staff glowed bright blue as she drew."DAy-guards approaching! Sound the ALarm!" She yelled to a Lutennet and in a minute armored bat ponies with spears, shield, swords and crossbows were taking positions
one bat pony gently nudged their 'guest' into a restaurant and offered some food, a nice moonflower salad.Lake looked at the bat ponies. They were a bit scared and she knew something was wrong. One of the guards walked up "Nightfang. we know you have a pony shaman. she was supposed to go to celestias school to control her power. If any other pony knew of her she could be in danger of hurting someone.."Lakes eyes widened. celestia was looking for her? Why?
"the shaman of one of the old earth tribes.Laughing lake sure they make a living with some western modern tech but they banished her because her power was to strong and she can accidently possess someone when she cant control her emotions." Lakes eyes widened. they knew to much.. 'it was an accident..just an accident...' she thought
"look i don't care Laughing Lake is under our protection and the last thing you want is Princess Luna AND Prince Lunar Shield out for your blood because you harmed the citizens under their care." She said pointing her staff at hima and said "You have 10 words to convince me why i should hand her over."
"She can see and possibly control grounded spirits." the guard huffed "I see your not listening..when she causes chaos we will return." and they leave quietly. Lake was eating her food trying to calm down and when she heard one of the bat ponies accents was like a deep French. she didn't mean to be rude but she laughed.
Nightfang returned and caused a shadow pony (A pony that is a living shadow) to appear and said "Inform father of these events." "Yes your hieghness." It replied and vanished.
