Okay. A lot of bronies find it generally difficult to decide on their favorite pony, especially to place the Mane 6 in a specific order. I'm making this thread so it may help you see what is to like or dislike about each of the six, possibly helping you put your Mane 6 in order. Rarity;; Pros of Rarity;; Rarity is a extremely classy pony. Her manners are perfected and her beauty is beyond compare. But what I really enjoy about her persona is that fact she is so kind, especially in the episode [forgetting the title] about her and Sweetie Belle's fighting. She put it upon herself to show her little sister she was sorry, apologize and cover herself in mud for Sweetie-Belle. And really? For Rarity, she needs credit. She drenched her body in mud. And she's Rarity. One more time She was covered in mud for her sister, on purpose, as an act of apology and love for her sister. And she is Rarity. I thought it was very big of her to do such a thing and her overall personality is kind of adorable. When she went to Canterlot she stood up for her friends when they were begin laughed at, despite her ruined reputation. I find her charming. Love her! Cons of Rarity;; Rarity is a prissy. She often puts fashion/reputation before friends, or can sometimes pressure them into doing things they may not like. She can't stand getting dirty and approval is everything to her. Overall? Rarity is one clean, tidy, girlish pony and not everyone enjoys her lack of adventure or her perfectionist attitude. Fluttershy;; Pros of Fluttershy;; She is a gentle, kind, adorably sweet animal lover with a heart the size of the moon. What's not to love? Not much explaining to do here. The traits of Flutershy are all admirable and her persona is simply cute as a rabbit. She goes out of her way to make people happy, especially her friends. And overall? She's... just... so cute. I want to give her a squeeze whenever she talks in that silly little voice of... oh, off topic. Flutter is adorable. Bottom line. Cons of Flutter;; Her shyness is something not every brony approves of. Her submissive, cowardly ways make some people dislike her personality though some people find it attractive. For Flutter, it really depends on how you see her. I see her flaws to actually improve her cuteness level, so -shrug- But nevertheless, it is considered by some to be something unlikeable. Applejack;; Pros of A.J;; Loyal to no end! Her hospitality can only be admired, and her determination and love for her family is simply wonderful. She is athletic and honest with... a apple sized heart! I wasn't a big fan of A.J at first but as I became more involved with the herd I grew fonder. Again, derp, honest. It is her element but also something I love about her. Her friends are extremely special to her and her sister is a big part of her life which I also find admirable. Cons of A.J;; Stubborn as a bull, she refuses to lose. And once she has something set in mind there isn't any convincing her otherwise. Sometime she can be a bit blunt... since... well, she's honest. So she can be straight forward at times, obviously. Also, I find her headstrong at times especially when arguing with R.D. Pinkie Pie;; Pros of P.P;; She's a fun loving, friend loving, party addicted wad of cheer! She can turn the corners of anypony's mouth upwards with a few words and smiling is the world to her. I find myself laughing at her silliness time and time again, sort of reminding me of myself. Though over the internet for some reason I come off as serious and blunt. -twitch- ANYUNICORN, she is a fun time and there is no denying her bouncy, bubbly attitude is adorably admirable. Cons of P.P;; She is always... not serious. Her attention span is near zero, and she isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. The goof can't calm down for more than a minute before starting her antics again and sometimes she goes to far. Rainbow Dash;; Pros of R.D;; She is fiercely loyal and would defend her friendships until death. Her wings are swifter than lightning and her determination matches A.J's perfectly. Her wittiness almost reminds me of Twilight even if they're near opposites. Her braveness gives her a strong courage to face up any challenge, and her restlessness is humorous. The pegasus is intelligent, often helping coming up with answers to problems. Cons of R.D;; Since I'm not the biggest fan of her, I'll make this short. I mean, I have a whole thread dedicated to it XD So. Brash, rude, impatient, picky, mean, often rude, cold, teasing her buddies on occasion, and a bit less than humble. I'm skipping T.S all together. I just can't... ugh. To be blunt, I don't like her. XD So. Without further ado, these are my favorite ponies in order. 1) Rarity 2) Apple Jack 3) Pinkie Pie 4) Fluttershy 5) Rainbow Dash 6) Twilight Sparkle WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITES IN ORDER [OF THE MANE SIX] C':
1. Rainbow Dash(See my post in your thread about Dash for why.) 2. Pinkie Pie, I love her optimistic and playful attitude, as well as slight insanity. 3. Twilight Sparkle, geek girls are always attractive to me, and I can identify of Twilights need for a clear schedule as well as paranoia if something does not go as planned. 4. Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity. No particular order, like them all equally and dislike none. Rarity is probably the best developed character of the diva archetype I have ever seen and the fact that they maneged to get me to like her is a sign of great writing unto it self. Applejack is generally likable, but haven't been able to catch my eye for some reason, perhaps she is too likable given that I do desire certain flaws in characters. Fluttershy is so cute, but my taste in girls has always been for the confident tomboy with attitude. Overall I like everypony but my top 3 are the ones I either has lots of things in common with or they has traits I desire in a future partner.
