The only thing you remember is falling asleep and having a pleasant dream of ponies. Then something weird happens in the dream where you find yourself in a blur of colors and you land in a place of ponies. Everything looks so real but how can you know for sure. It sure hurt falling down. But what do you look like know and what you do is all upto you my friend....
^ Banned for not watching me destroy some wicked demons at Devil May Cry. < Banned for playing too much. v Banned for not knowing what Devil May Cry is.
My mother really doesn't seem to be too bothered about what I do with my life. But hey, I'm incredibly individual.
It needs a few tweeks here and there, but i like the general concept so far. Maybe i'll work on a revision of my own when i have the time.
Sorry I've been away, everypony! I've been super busy. I've released two tracks since I last posted: Metal covers of "Bats" and "Equestria Girls (Cafeteria Song)", the latter of which even got retweeted by Daniel Ingram himself! I also recently ran a little contest to celebrate 1,000 subscribers. Part of the contest was to see what MLP song I would cover and release by the end of February. It ended up a two-way tie between "This Day Aria" and "The Flim Flam Brothers", and I'll be covering them both in that order (though the latter may not make it until March).
Harro ^_^ I enjoyed your introduction! A lot! You're clearly going to be fun to have around the forum, so welcome xD!
(Sign up: http://www.everypony.com/threads/mayas-bar-sign-ups-always-open.18687/ ) It was a peaceful night. A cool breeze rolled over the landscape under a clear night sky. The bar's exterior was fairly modest: A small, brick structure with a sign that simply read "Maya's Bar and Sleeping Place." Even from the outside, it was clear that it was a slow day. The inside was well-kept, yet unpretentious. On either side of the entrance were several booths, and up front was the bar, with a polished wood counter, with a fairly large amount of drinks lining the shelves behind. A door behind the bar led to a small kitchen. On the far right if the bar was a jukebox, loaded with music from every genre. An old thrash metal track was playing, probably picked by Azrael. The left wall contained a generic dart board, and a door to a unisex bathroom. There were two pool tables, one on each half of the bar. Finally, there was a set of stairs on the left, leading up to a group of bedrooms that Maya let anypony use for free. Maya, Skydust and Azrael were currently the only ones inside. Maya stood behind the bar with her typical laid back smile, conversing with Skydust, who sat at a bar stool and bore a stoic demeanor. "This bar isn't exactly booming," Skydust said plainly. Maya shrugged. "Eh, oh well. Can't expect a bar in the middle of bumbuck nowhere to be overcrowded, right?" Azrael, meanwhile, sat up on his flanks next to the door, silently contemplating blowing his Bits on rectified spirit. (EDIT: Permanent change made here: These are hung up in the bar now. )
After a long day of trail maintenance, Saber smiled as she pulled up to the bar and parked. Finally she was old enough to buy her own alcohol, and was very eager to do so. As she walked in, she saw the others. Suddenly getting nervous, she decides to go into the bathroom to wash her face.
"Oh, rad, a customer." Maya perked up a bit. She pointed her hoof at Azrael. "Dead Dude. Stop being creepy." Azrael silently shook his head in response. "I honestly didn't expect anypony to show up," Skydust admitted, watching Saber enter the bathroom.
After a quick cleanup, she walked out and headed towards the bar. She seated herself on a stool, and looked at the selection before her. Soon enough she worked up the courage to ask, "Um.. what would you recomend for a first time buyer?"
Xaryl had been wandering towards this bar for about a day and a half before finally trotting in, looking around. ".....hi" she said in her usual deadpan voice. Aborel stepped out of a portal in front of the bar. "this place looks like fun" she said cheerfully as Etheran seemed to fade into existence beside her, sighing. "yeah. just..... don't turn everyone into living statues or anything, okay?"
Maya smiled warmly at Saber. "I'd say a a hard cider, dude. That was my first drink at least." She turned and waved to Xaryl, Aborel, and Etheran, not very phased by their unusual entrances. "Hey, welcome! Make yourselves at home, drink till you black out." Skydust raised an eyebrow as the three entered the bar. "Interesting..." Azrael stood and watched Aborel, somewhat unnerved by her presence.
"Coming right up!" Maya quickly filled a mug with cider and slid it over to Saber. "Made that myself, you'll have to tell me how I did. What's your name, Vinyl?"
Xaryl glanced at each of the other patrons, then looked at the drinks. "....what's your heaviest drink?"
She takes a sip of the cider. "No, im just a huge fan. My name is Saber. Im gonna guess your Maya?" Smiles after another taste. "Oh and this cider is delicious"
"Or so I'm told." Maya giggled some and turned to Xaryl. "Right here, dude." She turned around, grabbed a bottle of spirits, and set it on the counter in front of Xaryl. "Take that slow. Or don't, you probably have some supernatural alcohol tolerance."
Xaryl shrugged. "nothing effects my mind." she said, drinking the entire bottle in a single gulp Aborel floated over lazily. "never had alcohol....." she mused. "hm......" Etheran groaned. "you're bad enough sober!" they said, then chuckled. "although, I am slightly curious as to what you're like drunk...."
