http://www.londonexpo.com/ http://www.midlandsmcmexpo.com/ Anyone going? I sure as sugar am. Birmingham - 18th February 2012 London - 25th - 27th May 2012
I was just about to make a thread on this very subject. Well done, good sir. Since my first in 2009, I haven't yet missed the MCM Expo. I'll definitely be in London, but I'll probably have to sit Birmingham out. That said, If anyone can make it to either of the events I really reccomend it. They're tons of fun. Are there any official meetups organised yet? Or will we have to sort something out ourselves? Also, I'll just leave this here... Edit: Gah, I can't find the photo of me decked out as an ODST with the RoosterTeeth guys! Where's it gone?!
I know there is a birmingham meet organised by the guys at !midlandsbronies on bronies.com. As for the London one? Surprisingly nothing. I think the London one is a great opportunity for a meet, (mainly because I can now go), but I won't be able to stay forever, I'm going with another guy and he's not a brony, nor does he know about them, plus we're going cosplaying... still deciding on what to go as that's unique. As for the meet, I would be happy to get some organisation going with some needed help, Ronsta? Anyone can chip in here. Edit: Foxy is going also? I do indeed feel a meet brewing.
I'd love to help organise a meet, I'm still annoyed that I missed the last one. :derpe: As for cosplay, I'm torn between an "Around the World" Robot and the Purple Shirted Eye Stabber. Decisions, decisions.
Same.. ;___; Well, welcome aboard, me hearty, we shall start... DA MAGIKS! Indeed, take them. TAKE THEM. I look forward to seeing the photos! EDIT: Wait a second... I know an Avenged Sevenfold t-shirt when I see one, that guy wins the expo in my books.
I would absolutely LOVE to go. Pop culture is a beautiful thing. Of course, my problem is my mother. (As usual)
Does she not approve of her young son meeting a group of complete strangers with a strange affinity for a show aimed at young girls starring colourful ponies? Actually, when you say it like that...
Lincoln is a couple of hundred miles away from London. She ain't happy with the fact I'll be there. All alone.
Merri's Mile Marker! Telford, near Birmingham - 71.6 mi - 1 hour 20 mins away by car. London - 126 mi - 2 hours 20 mins away by car. I am, however, taking the train for both visits.
