Originally I wasn't planning to head to Bronycon, but as time has gone on more and more of the tumblr ponyverse have declared they are going. So, I figured why not? I'm a Brony from South Carolina and was hoping to drive up I-95 to get there. However driving on my own makes me cringe since the drive would be approximately 8-9 hours long and the gas to go along with that. Also there is the issue of getting a room which would also be cheaper if split between people, but that is only if you are interested in splitting a room.. So my question to any Bronies living on the east coast is, would any of you like to join me on this voyage to Bronycon? We'd be splitting the room and gas evenly and splitting the driving as well so that no one is driving the whole time. This would also mean we'd be sharing a room. We'd also be going in my vehicle if no one minds. The vehicle can handle (including the driver) a total of five people. Although, if enough people are interested I'd be willing to rent out a van. I doubt many people here are up for it. However, I am. I've been saving up all my money I earned from MLP trading cards to go this time around. Unfortunately, I will be living in Ohio at the time. I will not be able to help with the drive, but I can most definitely help with the room, cover dinner for everyone at least 1 night, and pitch in for gas.(Hoping you can drive me to the train station/airport) My goal to be safe was $1,000.
I don't expect to find many people, but I'll take you up on the offer to split the room. So far I've got 2 others for a room, with 1 of those also joining me on the trip up. As for the train station/airport I won't mind as long as it's not during the convention itself. Also I wouldn't worry about the dinner, I don't expect anyone to have to pay for someone's meal just the trip or the room.
I'm not on a strict time limit as far as I know. Monday morning is what I was thinking. Also, how old are you? I'm just curious. I'm 23.
I'm 21 myself. Also to any other reading, for legal reasons I'm not willing to accept any minors for this agreement. Well that got more popular than I expected it too. I'm pretty much at capacity for the number of people I'm willing to have in one car. Splitting people into three per room now since there will be seven of us now.
