Hello everyone, I've just been recently looking for several people to help me out with this project. Getting to the point, this project is the process of transforming a story of mine into an animation, or a series. The story is based on the original series, but involves the life of a rather unfortunate pony who has been through not so lucky events. Basically, this project involves the original series mixed in with relatable issues in reality. And it also focuses how the OC may change the choices or outcomes based on the original series. If you'd like to know more about the story, then please don't hesitate to ask or send me a message. Getting on the team, of course, I would like more animators or puppet riggers to answer the call, as well as those that can make backgrounds, and be able to contribute to the team in any other way. I am mostly focused on getting the group of people required to make the animation right now, but I could also use a group of people who can voice act, especially for promotional use right now. Please, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. If you believe you could really enjoy this project, or are interested in it, reply to this or send me a message. Also, to make sure some people don't misinterpret my message and believe that I think Animators are all I need to make the Animations, Yes, I have storyboards. I have puppet rigs. We're still working on the promotional poster now (which could use some more help as well). I currently only have storyboards for the teaser, which is the main thing I'm going right now to attract more assistance.
Well, even though I don`t have that much time right know I would be interested in the giving-a-character-a-voice-part. If you want, you can check out my voice here first. This, in fact, sounds more promising than several other animation projects I wanted to contribute to, so, I hope it will turn out well! :-D By the way, some basic information about the story, the characters etc. would be nice. For the story, it begins at the first episode from where the original story begins, but in another character's perspective. Not make it sound negative, but instead of beginning as bright and cheery, it instead explores the darker side of life, or perhaps reality as you may wish to call it. Of course, I'm not saying there's anything EXTREME, but...it's just a sad part of life. You have a protagonist that you only learn the name of, but really nothing much more about. In the first two episodes, he is new to the Mane 6, but as the series progresses, he learns more about the type of friendship he enters, along with the viewer/reader learning about his own story that is incorporated to the series. The unique thing about this remake is, like I said, the incorporation of a new character into the show. The OC is not there for show. He has his own unique personality and his own back story that viewers/readers need to explore for themselves. They can make assumptions, but the truth will eventually come. I can't say much about the protagonist other than he's asocial at the time, well... he pretty much fears society and usually wishes to keep away from any social interaction with any pony unless needed. He has many layers to him and they are definitely hard to peel as he is very tough to open up. There are more characters I've included, but they aren't introduced in the beginning. The Mane 6 are their usual selves and so is every other character in the MLP universe. The objective for Season 1 is to see whether the Mane 6 can really break him and change him for the better.
