For those of us who are into the full-size Funko figures from Hot Topic, My Little Pony News has revealed the prototypes for the next 3 waves! They can be seen here. This has already been announced on Equestria Daily, so this may be old news for some. But I gotta say, so far they are looking great! The first pair should be available around July or August, but the pre-sale should occur in a few weeks! What do you guys think about them, and do you have some of the already-released ones?
When hasbro gets word of this they are going to shut it down like they did to shapeway. I find this funny really, hasbro just made on company remove their figures and these guys are going on ahead. Unless this was the reason hasbro took down shapeways, maybe funko and hasbro have a deal. I dunno, to lazy to look into it really. As for the figures themselves, I already have a Vinyl, so unless they release Rarity, Trixie or Diamond Tiara I don't really care.
I collect these. They came out last September/October I believe. I didn't get the Dr. Whooves one though. I just don't care much for the character.
I collect all these figures. Can't wait! Theses are easily the closest to show accurate Hasbro has gotten!
Update: Hot Topic has announced that the next two figures will be none other than Pinkie Pie and Lyra! The pre-sale will be this Friday. You betcha I'll be one of the first to order them! Unfortunately, based on the prototypes, this wave will be the last in a while to have a mane 6 character. But don't fret, all of the mane 6 will be released eventually. Also can't wait to see what "bigger" things they have up their sleeves!
