So I was thinking of how good mlp compares to life. In mlp you don't get a cuite mark until you find out what your special talent is and that's like in life you don't find happiness until you find out what you're mean to do in this world
That not entirely accurate. There a plenty of people that know exactly what their purpose is in life, and are still miserable.
I feel like if you're not happy you're not doing what you were meant to do. You might think you're doing what you're meant to do but if you're not happy it's not what you're meant to do
Job satisfaction and general well being increases productivity and long term health due to reduced stress, other people's happiness is relevant and important to me. Your purpose is what you make it, decide for yourself whatever that may be, like Ridley said though, this won't guarantee happiness, life has a lot up it's sleeve to throw at you in other area's to bring you down, horrible boss/team, trouble at home, unexpected health issues etc. And not to mention some situations that you just really shouldn't try to get out of, like abandoning your children to seek your own happiness. Unless you are unhappy to the point of being abusive, in which case you should probably bugger off for their sake. And I've probably delved into this way more than I probably should have :I Oh, and there are lots of good lessons in the show, it's obvious stuff we already know, but sometimes we need a reminder when we lose our heads. It's easy to miss or think them cliche, when you don't need the advice at the time.
