At this point, we all know it's inevitable. As ludicrous as it may sound, a crossover between Hasbro's two most profitable franchises is bound to happen at some point. Now the question becomes: how would it work? What medium would it be in (comic, book, movie, etc.)? What would the plot be like? And most importantly... would it be any good? Personally, I think it'd be best suited to comic books, and the plot would likely be something about the Decepticons finding a powerful artifact of some kind in Equestria, and the Mane 6 would have to fight them off with the help of the Autobots. Hopefully it'd turn out decent, but what do you think?
The is a lot of cool pony Transformer art out there. I've posted a bunch of it on last to post in the past. I think a toyline would be the best venue. Let people make their own stories.
I'm wondering if there's any chance for IDW to include My Little Pony in the Hasbro Comic Universe. Now that the Visionaries have been added to it, it establishes that magic now exists in that universe, leaving the door open for the Ponies to appear.
