I think EP needs a mobile skin. It is extremely laggy to post from my phone. It literally takes 5-10 minutes to post a short message. Maybe this skin could take out gifs and youtube things as well? What I'm think is a dumbed down, simplified version of the site. Would anything like that be possible?
EPN runs fine on my phone. It IS just a wee bit slower, but I assumed that was because I was connecting to the internet through my phone.
What phone are you using? Can you not use the Stye Chooser at the bottom of the page? There is a mobile skin there to use although it is more designed for smartphones.

Everything on the main page is bunch up to the right but other than that, it works extremely well. Very little lag..I think. I'll report back in bit to see how it works for me.
Yup, that was the issue I was referring to. But it isn't too bad since it only happens on the forum index.

Tapatalk is a forum app designed for smartphones. It has an easy to use interface because often times using a regular forums website on a smartphone can be incredibly frustrating and difficult. The reason why that popup comes up saying "This forum supports Tapatalk!" is just a friendly suggestion to the user. Any forum that has designated themselves to be 'Tapatalk compatible' can display that message for unknowing users.
I know about the app. Beeing always on mobile, i had bought it, and it was a bad investissement. If you can use it correctly and don't mind to see your posts sent two minutes after you pressed the 'send' button, it's a wonderfull app. A little advice: Get Parasprite, free demo version, and use the Vbulletin skin already on the site. Faster & less frustrating when you're Rping~!
I already suggested the vB mobile skin on the previous page. And what does Parasprite have to do with EP? That app is for reading pony news blogs, watching episodes and a link to Celestia radio.
Yes, it is a paid app. One that I do not have, so I do not know how well or well not it works. Look for reviews on whichever app store you use and see if it is worth it. You could always give the vB mobile skin a try (I provided a link on the previous page) first to see if that works better. Or choose it with the theme chooser at the bottom of the page.
Which would be the fastest theme to choose, seeing as I have no moneys on my iTunes account? Is there a white theme or something?
The mobile skin on this site is just like any other (Spring theme, Network theme, etc), except it is suited for mobile use. Try going to the forums on your phone and choosing the mobile skin.
Here's another ting you could do create an app create soley for the purpose of using this forum without needing tapatalk.
