What is an argument? It is two people with conflicting views trying to prove that they are right, and that their opponent is wrong. What, then, is a debate, if not that? True, debaters may not be as passionate, and may be interesting to listen to, but in the end, the same principles apply, and the process is very similar. The difference is that one is interesting, while the other is face palm-worthy. As to why I would want to see arguing, therein lies the essence of my post. I would rather see no arguing, but people will always disagree. This is our nature. As such, I would prefer that people would solve their problems in a more refined, civilized way. Sadly, they do not. Speaking of refined strength and whatnot, I have my fencing class to go to now.
