Just a happy and fun reminder that exactly 1 year ago today was the day that I saw my very first MLP: FiM video ever. Some of you know my story that I found it by luck. The forums that I've been taking part in for years never really have ponies on them, so I wonder if I ever would have discovered it if I didn't help that guy last year. Someone on another forum wanted some guy's youtube background. Some of you may know the youtube user SilkAMV. It was his channel and he had a pony video of Pinkie and Fluttershy and curiosity got the better of me. After one video I was visually attracted to the animation and interested in seeing more. At first I thought it was just a youtube thing. I didn't realize it was MLP until several videos later. I may not be as addicted to the show as I was when I first watched it, but I'm really not that far off. This fandom is very unique from other fandoms I've taken part in. One of my favorite aspects is that most bronies are nice people. When I came to this website for the first time and introduced myself, I've never felt so welcome anywhere. Other websites I introduce myself and I get messages like "Who dis' guy?" "Welcome to hell." "*Generic hello whoever you are*." As long as the fan-base stays on this track, I'll be a brony for a LONG time. I admit I started losing some brony spirit a few months back, but it all came back to me with open arms some amount of weeks ago. So thanks to all you fellow bronies out there. I don't know where I would have ended up as a brony if I never found EPN. If you remember the exact day you became a brony, I'd like to hear your story too.
Actually, i don't even remember my brony anniversary, because honestly, when i watched my first video, i didn't even know it was gonna be a significant part of my future. I do remember it was around this time of the year though. And i do still remember the video i watched back then. I'll probably post a Brony anniversary thread on the day i joined EPR last year. :derpe:
I don't remember exactly what happened with me on that fateful day when I decided to try out MLP FIM (I had just heard about it on another website and figured, What the hell, I'll try anything once). All I remember about my Brony anniversary is that is somewhere around February 8th, but anyways, good job!

I don't remember the exact date I saw my first pony video, but I remember it was a PMV to "You're gonna go far, kid" by The Offspring, Nightcore remix. After that the storry is the same, the curiosity got the better of me, and I spent the whole weekend filling up on the first two seasons. =P By the way, correct me if I am wrong, but Brony is the only fandom that has a documentary made about them. =)
