Well today I got sick. So yep. A couple of days ago I ordered some Ultra Pro Premium Card Sleeves. They are penny sleeves that fit in 9 pocket binder pages. Yes I double protect my MLP:FIM Series 2 cards, both ones that I don't have in my collection yet and ones that I do. The ones I don't have in my collection yet go into the Premium sleeves and then into a plastic Ultra Pro 110-card holder. If they are gold foil or box toppers I put them in toploaders (The sturdy plastic sleeves, REALLY sturdy) All of the cards I do have in my series 2 card collection that I don't have up for trade are sleeved in the Premium sleeves and then stored in a pristine white 3-ring C binder. Now C-ring binders offer less protection than D-rings. (C-Rings can cause the cards to bend if there are a lot of pages. But because there is only about 135 cards. Which is 15 pages. Not enough to bend them. Yes, some of my cards are up for trade and are protected in the methods above as soon as they come out of the pack. So yep. My confession xD
This is typical among most card collectors. I'm the same way with my yugioh cards. Common cards that aren't worth that much all go into an organized shoe box. The rest get put into sleeves and put into a D-ring binder in their own sleeves.
*[\* Yeah the sad part is I haven't used any of them in a long time. Not sure if MLP are only for collecting or if they can be used in a game or not. With Yugioh my general like of the cards came from the strategy and triumph/loss from playing the game.
Well, the current cards don't have an official game, but they are coming out with a card game this November!
