So this is my first attempt to draw a pony. I think the head is positioned a little too high up, but I think it's turned out better than I was expecting it to. Once I've had a chance to scan it into my laptop, I might have a go at colouring it and maybe change the hair style a bit. I find it easier to do that stuff on the computer.

Okay I just spent a while in GIMP colouring and tweaking my original picture and I now have this I basically completely re-drew it on the computer with my mouse using a scan of the original to trace from. I lowered the head a bit into a better position and completely changed the hair a couple of times until I was happy with it. There's probably still a few things that could improve it. Maybe using slightly thiner outlines and stuff, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. I've got a few new ideas of tecniques to use so I'll probably draw a new pony sometime soon and have another go at it.
It looks like a silver Fluttershy...with a horn...awesome! Nice work Rainbow, you are quite talented!

Thanks! I will Actually I drew another pony today It's a bit better than the first and I didn't try to add as much detail into the hair since I can fiddle around with that later on my laptop.
