Aperture Science is run by ponies, and you are one of the test subjects drafted at birth. As Aperture was almost at the brink of disaster by a nuclear accident you had to be put into stasis to survive, as did most of the test subjects. Aperture was shut down because of the nuclear levels as the others never knew you existed, thus leaving you behind. then, as if on cue, Aperture science facility went back to it's glorious state it once been as you are now realized with the other testers. A bot named GlaDos as revived the facility, releasing the testers. Thinking you are now free, she then enslaves you in testing, tricking you that you where leaving. Through various tests you have seemed to get a hold of a portal gun like the others. Looking for a way out, a personality bot named "Wheehely" has offered a way out. Desperate, you agree to the plan along with the others as you yet again go through many tests at GlaDos's will as Wheehely hacks in the main system to start the escape route.
