It has been five days since anypony has heard anything from Hoof Steel Mine and the scouting parties that Celestia had sent had not reported back. So Celestia called upon two ponies each with a special set of skills to go and investigate the mine. The two ponies now wait in the throne room curious of why they have been summoned. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jumper looked around the room with mild curiousity why would Celestia need my help? Furthermore what's up with that pegusus he thought to himself looking at the odd pegusus standing next to him.
shadow looks at the pony next to her and relizes she doesnt remember how she got here and slowly turns to see guards behind her and sinks down not knowing if she was in trouble
Jumper outstretched his hoof to the pegusus and said "Hi, the names Verse Jumper friends call me Jumper" then smiled warmly at the troubled looking pegasus.
Not realizing the extended hoof next to her. Shadow realizing she’s not in trouble and goes to look at the guard. The guard wouldn’t look at shadow so shadow started to smell the guard in an awkward way the guard starts to feel uncomfortable.
Jumper watched the pegusus sniff the gaurd, oooook then he thought to himself. The princess entered the room smiling saying "welcome both of you". Jumper bowed.
Shadow stopped smelling the guard and walked over to where the bowing pony was and had the sudden urge to lick this pony but decided not to and followed his actions and bowed before the princess.
Jumper then raised his head asking "Why did you summon us?" then looking at the pegasus who was giving him and odd look. The Princess aswered saying "you see, it has been five days since anypony has recieved word from Hoof Steel Mine and the scouting parties have not returned, I need your assistance in this matter since you both have a "special" set of skills" Celestia looked troubled maybe even desperate.
"Well thanks but why am i here you took me out of a mentalhospital for this and you won’t even offer my gun back how rude" shadow said with a upturned head then realizing what she just said she looked at the princess and grinned from ear to ear.
Jumper was suprised a mental hospital? this job was getting more complicated by the second. "uh, princess what is this job and why do we need this pegusus?" asked Jumper with a questionable look on his face. Celestia just smiled saying "you and your partner will be going to Hoof Steel Mine to investigate why it has gone silent, and shadow while "different" has expierience with explosives she'll be a helpfull asset if you get into trouble". Jumper was shocked asking " wait, partner?" "yes, is that okay with you shadow?" said Celestia now looking at shadow.
“I am just fine with it but first I would like to know a bit about this pony” shadow looked at the pony next to her. When she smelled a delicious scent “umm good pony May I ask you a question”
“Is that smell you and what is it and is it a food also before we leave can we stop and get some food” shadow said to the pony then turned to the princess and asked “Do you have my shoulder weapon and can you ask the doctors to stop putting baby toys in my room it get very aggravating”
Jumper was speachless, all he could say was "uh, sure" frankly he could care less. Celestia then said "Shadow if all goes well I'll release you from the hospital and give you a normal home if you want".
Jumper frowned saying "the name's Jumper" looking at the odd pegasus. Cellestia spoke up when they began to leave "The mine is east of Canterlot if you can find him talk to Solid Ore he will show you around, please be careful!" Jumper nodded saying "we will".
Jumper left the throne room with the pegusus and retrieved her weapon on the way out. After leaving the Canterlot city limits Jumper asked shadow "how did you get stuck in a mental-hospital in the first place?" with a worried look on his face.
"well it's a long story but we have a long way so I'll start with my home I lived in a town in the Outskirts of ponyville. I was out for a fly and i saw somthing and started to chase it into town when it disapeared I just couldn't handle it. I was right ontop of it. I started to freak out when these people came up to calm me down but then i dont know why but i snapped. turned to them and attacked them, cops had to pull me off and the judge had me commited to the HOUSE"
