First off... sorry i was gone so long! it was getting a bitr tiring with so little members... but it doesn't matter. Time to say our favorite game! and here is mine :
Forever - and nothing can match it. NOTHING.
This is one of my all time favorites. (Tears of joy) I was so addicted to this game. The second one was my favorite though.
Oh now that is a tough question. It will probably "be" this: I Can't believe I missed my chance to get access to the beta... :'( As for my actual current favorite game, man I really really don't know for sure but the first one that springs to mind is; Ah damn it. No sorry I can't choose - but it's gotta be one of the following: Gears of War 2 Final Fantasy (VII, VIII or IX) Morrowind (Screw Oblivion) Borderlands (Co-Op RPG's ftw) Age of Empires II Warcraft III I know the thread is entitled '...game' (it's not plural) but I really couldn't choose P.S. So Plok wasn't invented by you Jaret? Damn.
I'm indecisive as always: I pretty much like every game from the Zelda series, but if I had to choose a favorite it'd be Wind Waker Game had great music, great art style and was in general a load of fun FF Tactics Advanced was also a great handheld game, definitely something you can play for a long time Sonic CD - best sonic game I've ever played, and it's so hard to find now too (I have the original disc, but it's incompatible with newer computers even with compatibility and other measures since I have the disc that ran off the dino archive instead of the other one that ran off an executable). Awesome music, huge levels and occasionally very challenging. (also it was the first game metal sonic appeared in)
^ I've played that game so many times now, but it never gets old. Ever. It's got a brilliant graphical style, plenty of levels to kill you with, and its overall feel is highly unique. It's quite different to other 2D platformers. Also worth mentioning are Banjo Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64, which, for me, represent the perfect 3D platformer. Tons of levels, tons of replay value, tons of jiggies/bananas to pick up and finish the game with. And I think I'll mention Donkey Kong Country Returns. Essentially a 2D platformer, but with a trillion new elements added, which makes it into an altogether unique game. Also, it really showed off what the Wii can actually do, like Super Mario Galaxy did.
My favorite game would have to be Arkham City, yeah it just came out, but it's that good. Also Banjo Kazooie.
^lol... :derpe: *edit* ninja'd. @greyOne, lol XP My favorite... probably is either Mount and Blade: Warband, Pokemon Silver, or Super Smash Bros. Melee... ...actually, there's a bit too many to easily pick. But those ones are ones that I really like. (soon going to play M&B Fire and Sword though, maybe that will be better...) ...*edit* oh yeah, and the tales series is good... I only played the wii and gba ones though :derpe:
can't name one but a few Command & Conquer (I will always be a fan of this game) Warhammer 40k: Space Marine/Dawn of War Ace Combat: Assault Horizon (I have only played the demo but it's that good) Age of Mythology/Empires (again I will always be a fan of these games) and thats it so far!!
I, personally, have only watched videos of Sonic CD -- mostly TAS because they're cool to watch. However, I don't feel that Sonic CD beats out Sonic 3 & Knuckles (if we're talking classic) for the best Sonic game. For the modern eras - both Sonic Adventure games were ****ing fantastic, though I don't care for playing side characters at all. (Who the hell is Big the Cat anyway?) I have copies of Gunstar Heroes (Contra: Hard Corps is probably more action, but 4 mil times the difficulty) for action and Shining Force 2 for strategy. The Sega Genesis was legendary for amazing games. I loved SEGA Channel growing up. Got to play a bit of everything.
