The Hub is doing a vote on naughty characters and nice characters, and Discord and Pinkie Pie happen to be in the running. Ok, don't get me wrong, but Discord is a joke in comparison to Joker. Pun not intended. But it seems there are just too much bronies voting there... As i can see, Discord and Pinkie'll win for sure. Still, i voted Joker over Discord.
I would have voted for the Joker, but this is the Joker from Batman: The Animated Series. Comic book Joker shot and paralyzed Oracle (A.K.A. Barbara Gordon, the first Batgirl). However, this is not that Joker. This animated Joker is the joke compared to the original. I voted Discord. A difference of opinion, I suppose.

For some reason I can't watch the videos on hubworld, it just does not start. Is this just me or do anyone else have the same problem? Voted once for Pinkie Pie. Dicord vs Joker, don't make me choose . Lets see, most evil, the Joker is a murderous phycho, but with no powers, Discord is a mischievious trickster and god of chaos. His incarnations in other dimensions include Q from Star Trek, Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness from the Elder scrolls, the Chaos god Tzeentch from the warhammer universe and Cthulhu from the Lovecraft mythos. So yeah, I voted for Discord .
As a general rule? Yes. The joker is among the best villains of all time. But Mark Hamill's most recent incarnation of the animated Joker? Eh... I mean, he's enjoyable, but he certainly wasn't as classic as the various comic book incarnations, or Jack Nicholson's, or Heath Ledger's. And the animated q is pretty stiff competition :3 I can imagine preferring the Joker, but I don't think it's as clear-cut as you argue.

Don't see how pinkie can loose now. BRONY POWER! Don't have a clue who Baroness is, so didn't vote there.
I still think that Megatron should be in. I'm not one to comment on the TV series but in the movies he is pretty bad ass, more so than Discord who is just a massive troll. As for the friend category, Pinkie easily wins.
I am pretty sure the Joker from the comics and from (few) cartoons are just as good (or even better) than Heath's Joker. Though, he did deliver an impossibly great performance, and easily stole the performance from "Batman" (which was below the rank of bad, seriously, Christian Bale, you are not a batman). Also, Discord was fine but not cutting edge as a villain.
