Anyhooo yes in total agreement and no I don't really have many ideas, I suppose posting on the youtube episodes or a variety of other pony sites (that don't have forums) like ponychan is it? Might get us a handful of fresh recruits... Hmm. I'll think on it a bit more anyway!
Meh - I don't think many people actually follow links on youtube as they're normally considered spam If you could post a video that got some popularity with a link in the description that may work, but that relies on you creating something that gains popularity. I really don't know how ponychan is, but if it's anything like 4chan (I'm guessing they'd probably be much friendlier to that sort of thing, you could look for like an website advertising thread or something) advertising there isn't the best idea
Yeah, Just tell any of your friends who are interested, invite people on other forums, post links in areas where people might be interested, ect. Either way, 'tis cool for the 6 of us to just chat now until more people decide they wanna chat about ponies.

Well. Does the site tell you stats and stuff? Like what threads most of the visitors go to. More than likely, the most visited thread is the one that could get the most members. Also, we should start naming the threads we make more eye catching. Instead of me saying "Pac-Pony's Screenshots", I could say "Hilarious Screenshots of MLP".
Don't butter up threads, it's not the titles that are going to get people to come to the site anyway Though there should appear to be action in all forums, so posting some threads in more places could help (make the site as a whole appear more active)
Don't worry. I wasn't going to. I only created 1 thread I think. And that was the "I wish this was real" thread.
^^ Still trying to brainstorm advertisement methods. It's not all so bad though, two new members today - although saying that - neither has posted.. :S
It's not a question I can answer I can't force members to help advertise, although we would greatly appreciate it from those who are willing. So unless anyone specifically offers to do anything, like Jaret and his video and emotes I really don't know. I'm trying to think of a 'selling point' if you will, something despite pony related discussion that 'categorises' the site. The hive is about war3/sc2 but it has a vast array of modding tutorials, resources etc (which is what most people are originally attracted to) the same goes for LBPC to a certain degree.
Not sure what exactly you could do for "pony resources" really But some practical purpose aside from discussion could definitely help
