I have a serious back injury that prevents me from working, so I spend most of my time at home. I also have depression and MLP cheers me up SO much. My Little Pony was introduced to me by Rina chan aka Kira Bucland back in season 1. I liked how happy it was, and loved the story and art. I myself do MLP, and other, art and post a small amount on my Deviant account which is the same username as I have here. I also love writing, and have been considering making a fanfiction. I also made a Princess Cadance (fav pony) patch to put on my stocking for Christmas. Currently I am working on a 20"+ plushie of her, that won't be so horrible as the ones I keep seeing advertised at this place. So for my MLP goods, most of them were get well gifts for hospital stays that I have had and I love the toys I have. I also have even branched in voicing out characters and found I can sound like Twilight and Fluttershy very well, and hope to put my years of advanced acting training to use some day. I'm curious about your back as well, but for first impressions, you seem like a mix of Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and... somehow Cadance. That's what I voted. At any rate welcome to Everypony, I hope we can be a good distraction for you in your times of need.
