Hello! I'm new to the fandom and to the phenomenon that is MLP. I literally just was welcomed last week, and for two years I was always a "hater", per se. "WHY DO GROWN MEN WATCH THAT SHOW?" was always on my mind. A friend of mine told me to try being open-minded, and he gave me links to the first few episodes of Season 1 on YouTube (MLP isn't being shown here on our country), and I gotta say I was hooked! One week in, and I'm now on Episode 12, and I even bought MLP comics the other day to add to my pull list! Lucky for me, my mom and my cousins have no problem and don't find my newest fandom weird at all. It's my friends, who even in the first place think I'm weird and chilidish for being geeky, liking stuff like comics and wrestling, that I find to fit in around on... even moreso, if they get to find out about this. Aw, well. I'd just like to say being "bitter" about the show and being a "hater" without even having tried it was one mistake I'll make sure not to do again. It sure does help to be open-minded about things.

Soon as I met my potential girlfriend who referred to herself as a Brony, she showed me all these fan based My Little Pony Music Videos.
