Surely there's always something new to discover? In this RP, a group of ponies is on an adventure to explore a vast new land, far from Canterlot or Ponyville. Set in a pony world heavily influenced by technology common to our human world (guns and stuff, if you don't get what I'm saying), this group isn't exactly mentally prepared for the great wonders and terrible dangers they'll encounter, but only time will tell if they will make it back to Equestria with profitable news. It's up to you to survive in this new world, and may Celestia have mercy on your souls. Please use a somewhat older character (15 and on) if possible. I'll only take a few very young ones if any. Instead, the weak-willed pegasus found his skills in writing for the royal court. His father came home to him one day, beaming. He informed him that the princess had assigned Monochrome to lead an expedition. Though unsure of himself, he sucked in his gut and shouldered the task, gathering a group made up of ponies from all of Equestria. Whether he will be effective as a leader, though, is yet to be seen. How you got recruited to the expedition: he has already been to live and teach equestria's ways with Zecora's old tribe in zebrica as well as visiting saddle Arabia. So he is the most experienced with travelling abroad.

How you got recruited to the expedition: I needed a job so I decided to join the cause, to help other Ponies in need.

Name: Impulse ( I was also hoping at some point in the story could come up with this name for him, due to his high speed reflexes, and make the name Twitcher stick with him ) Age: 17 Gender: Male Race: Earth Pony Cutie Mark: A Zig-zaging blur Special Talent ( more of an ability ): High speed reflexes, above average physical ability. Impulse is an earth pony who acquired his physical ability from a weather accident. After Being stuck by lightning during a storm, his body permanently maintained a small electrical charge that can send impulses to his muscles and make him move with high spring-like action. These electrical impulses to his muscles give him high wirey strength and reflexes. Impulse was out to explore a new Island he calls New Eden with a search team that is lost in a multitude of events, some events that were cases of slaughter by ravenous animals of unimaginable stature and power. After the loss of his team he is lost on the island alone, and eventually decided to face facts and create a "home" on the island, due to his loss of hope of ever escaping "New Eden". He is stranded on New Eden for 14 months. He then while waiting to ambush anything that comes in the vicinity of his camp, jumps out from inside a concealing shrub, tackles and apprehends a Pegasus traveling with a group by mistake thinking he was a hostile intruder. Impulse apologizes, He thinks they are a rescue team and is ecstatic to see them. When they explain that they are there to explore the area as well, impulse is devastated, but more concerned about their safety. He begs and explains that the island is very dangerous and begs them for his life not to go any further. When the group discards his warnings and say they will continue on with their adventure, he joins their group with the intentions of not letting them go until he has exhausted all his methods of trying to convince them not to. He formally introduces himself along the way, and begins to travel with the group and its leader Monochrome Quill...
