Please visit signups first The story: In this RP, a group of ponies are on an adventure to explore a vast new land, far from Canterlot or Ponyville. Set in a pony world heavily influenced by technology common to our human world (guns and stuff, if you don't get what I'm saying), this group isn't exactly mentally prepared for the great wonders and terrible dangers they'll encounter, but only time will tell if they will make it back to Equestria with profitable news. It's up to you to survive in this new world, and may Celestia have mercy on your souls. OOC thread will be up soon, but go ahead and get started. To begin: As the crew walked down the road to the harbor, the grey pegasus in lead stopped for the twentieth time that day. "Role call!" he eagerly shouted. Monochrome knew he was being excessive, but he was too half nervous and half excited to stop with these last minute preparations. They were off to discover a new land! What a prospect!
"Shifting his gaze uneasily past Broken, Monochrome looked out over the rest of the group. "Um... alright, the rest of you, state your names again."
Monochrome turned around again, and tightened his pack. "Everyone on board the ship, then. We're off." (Voting for time lapse in OOC. Check RP discussion forum.)
(As we agreed, the time lapse will take place now.) Monochrome, dumping the last bucket of sea-sick overboard, called out to the pony above him. "Esy, see anything yet?"
Monochrome himself began to feel a little queasy as he looked at the water rushing by below. He headed to the prow of the ship to look ahead. "Esy... are you sure about that? Take another look." Monochrome squinted his eyes against the horizon, sure he was dreaming. As the sun peeked out over an enormous mountain peak in the distance, a very, VERY wide spread of land set out before the ship off a ways. It looked majestic against the faint sunlight, and everything from sandy beaches to lush forests were visible. - - Auto Merge - - (I'll be jumping off, of course, chaps. Carry on if you'd like.)
"Come to think 'bout it, looks like there might be something over there" Esy said while dumping the arrows into the quiver.
"You don't say," Monochrome said absent-minded like, staring at the spectacle before him. Suddenly he snapped out of his trance. "Ready the supplies! We're here!"
Flint stood on deck admiring the view as he went through his supplies once more. "Flint and steel check, Multi-tool check, hunting knife check and Rope check. Seems ive got everything I need". He slung his rucksack over his back before jumping overboard and swimming the last couple of meters to the shore.
Esy shouted to Monochrome: "If you don't mind, i'm sticking with you!" (If the RP continues while i'm gone, I'm with monochrome)
Tossing the anchor over, Monochrome called out. "Get that life boat lowered! We'll meet Flint at the shore. Have your supplies with you, and get nothing wet! Everyone should be sure to have full ammo, seeing as the princess was kind enough to supply us with these weapons. We're heading out!"
