Confound these ponies, they drive me to creativity and I'm also so busy with school. Out of nowhere I was thinking about the opening scene in MLPFiM with Twilight and Spike and my mind replaced their dialogue with something I thought was hilarious. So I wrote it down. Then I contacted an online friend with a huge amount of voice actor contacts. She was thrilled with the idea and said she would find a voice actor for Twilight for me. My plan is to make a mini-abridged episode of MLPFiM. Since I don't have much free time I couldn't make it as long as all the other abridged series out there, but this may be a good thing. It could be original in that it will just be short comedy skits between the characters no longer then maybe a minute or 2. I have written a rough draft of a script involving just Spike (That I will VA) and Twilight. Then if this is successful and gets reasonably popular I could send out a casting call to fill the rest of the cast and make it into a regular series. This is the script. I think this would be funny, but I would need an objective opinion, if this is in fact crap. Don't be afraid to say if you don't think it will work. My Little Pony Super Abridged #1 (working title) Twilight: Spike! Spike! You better not have screwed up again, where's my package? Spike: I kind of accidently broke it when you opened the door in my face Twilight: Oh that is it Spike I have had it with your incompetence. Spike take a letter! Spike: OK mistress (annoyed tone) Twilight: Dear Princess Celestia, I would like to make a formal complaint about the worthless servant you have sent me. I demand that this one be thrown into a dungeon at a place that you banish him to and that you give me a better one. Your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle. Twilight: Now go and take it to Princess Celestia. Spike: But that is a 1000 mile walk. Twilight: You should have thought about that before being so useless. Spike: You are a big meany mule! (Spike, bursts the letter into flame) Twilight: What! How dare you, Fine I will write and teleport the letter to her myself except instead of the dungeon I'm going to tell her to have you executed. (Twilight sends the letter and a new one appears) Twilight: Aha! I knew she would want to take immediate action. Spike reads: My Faithful student, No you are stuck with him, Trollololol Twilight: Rrrrraaahhhhggg!
Oh jeez. No offense, but I really dislike some of those abridged series thingies on YouTube... I met the creator of the Yu-Gi-Oh one on Skype one time and he was a bit of a meanie. However. I am an amateur voice actor though and I have Adobe Premiere for video editing, so if you need any help, I am here... I dunno if I can voice ponies though XD
My brother is an excellent voice actor. He genuinely impressed me with how many accents he could do. There is a reason he's going to theatre in college, you know... If you need someone to cast, just let me know. I'll get the "Ol' Microphone" out and let my brother do the talking. Me? Not so much. Hence why I'm a meteorologist.
I am going to be casting first from my many VA contacts on Youtube, that I have been following for a long time, they have dips if you will. If that doesn't fill all the roles, then I could cast people from here. By the way I am quite confident I could make this have competitive quality as I personally know many great voice actors and I am a professional video editor and learning about professional sound editing at school at the moment. How did it not occur to me sooner that I had the perfect skill set to do this?
It sounds good so far, but short for a first episode. Meh, maybe it's better to keep them short. I also do voice work, and I have clips ready to email! I can do Fluttershy, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Trixie. Also Princess Luna and Braeburn, kinda. XD I can also do a western accent, though my voice doesn't sound as mature as Applejack's.
Al right I might as well open the casting to everyone and then pick what is really the best rather then my online friends having bias. I could miss great voices that way. However remember that in my first post I said the first episode (with voice actors I have already confirmed) is the only one that is definitely happening after that is finished more episodes will be seriously considered. So send me auditions if you want to, but don't go to too much effort until I confirm that there will be more episodes, I will need to make sure my first doesn't suck first.

You know what, that sounds like great fun. I'd love to be a voice actor in this if it all works out. :>
I like where is could go. I'm no voice actor, but maybe I'd give it a try. Oh well, I HOPE series go's someplace.
