Hey everypony, so in the past few months, MLP came out on netflix. I watched some shows with my little sisters and instantly became hooked on the show. There's all that MLP stuff floating around the web that I never really understood before, but now I just can't get enough of it! The other night I finished up season 2, and was sad that it was all over. Reading through the forums, it seems like this is a good place to hang out with the other bronie's, as there aren't any that I hang out with in the real world. A bit about me: On the 29th of May (this month) I'm shipping out to basic training to the Marine Corps under an Intelligence/ground electronic warfare contract (0231 DD). I have an immense amount of pride in my country, and am thankful for everyday I step foot on American soil, and have a deep desire to serve. God bless America and our allies around the world! So any other Military service bronies out there, hit me up! After the 29th, I should be able to be checking back in around the end of August/early september. If I had to pick a pony most like me... It's a solid tie between Applejack and Rainbow Dash, as I've been raised with the stern values of Honesty, and loyalty, and like to think I practice these qualities daily. My favorite pony? Pinkie Pie. I think everyone should have their "pinkie pie" in their life, someone who can make them smile, anytime of the day no matter how you feel. For me it's my little sisters. They fill my heart with sunshine everytime I see them, and I'll miss them dearly when I'm gone. The other night when I was tucking in my little sister to bed she looked up at me, teary eyed and said "I'll miss you when you leave to be a soldier", I stayed with her, tears welling up in my eyes as I held her until she fell asleep. My little Pinkie Pie, my sweet sister. My favorite MLP moment: Sweetie Bell's voice crack (How dare you!) My goals in life: Ultimately, I want to work with national security when I'm out of the Marines, either with the NSA, CIA, or FBI. I know the steps I need to take to get there. Me personally: I asked 3 best friends to give me each an adjective to describe me during a school project, as I believe the most accurate portrayal of oneself is from the eyes of those who know you best. They gave me, courageous, official bad@#$, and loyal. I just graduated high school this year whilst also doing college, I take courses in criminal justice. I also have a great admiration for the law, and for the civil liberties of others (rights of privacy, fair and speedy trials, so on so forth) I've also been told by people I'm one of the most straight-laced people they've known, and I'm proud to be able to agree, lived completely drug free, never touched alcohol, always out of trouble. I'm on STEAM! Askad01 I play a lot of Super MNC, a little original warhammer now and then. Dota 2, Civilization 5 and dungeon defenders. I'm also a Minecraft fan! Join in on mine and my friends server (we need people, and it'd be a hilarious shock to fill it with Bronies all the sudden) sever is haruna.mhgnet.net Anyways hit me up, I'd like to be part of the community before I ship out to basic training! (only have 14 days left!)
Hey, welcome to Everypony! You seem like a nice guy. And this site is probably one of the best places on the internet to meet great bronies. Have fun and enjoy your stay.

That is the exact number of school days before I graduate.... I will say a prayer for you on my graduation day. And welcome, enjoy the stay. I used to give out personalized welcomes, before I took a dryspell to the head. Sorry.

I was going to say that there's a karaoke night, but you'll have left before the actual date. But you could always quickly record something before you go. Here's some more information: http://www.everypony.com/forums/showthread.php?4837-Karaoke-Night-FOUR-EVER!-23RD-JUNE! Other than that, there's the General Chat Thread and radio if you want to talk to others.
Hello. I'm Tyro. So, I've heard about Super Monday Night Combat. What's it like? I've never bothered to download it, even though it's free. Anything you can recommend to me about it?
Well have you ever played Dota, Dota 2, League of Legends or Heroes of Newerth? It's that kind of game, but a third person shooter which adds a pretty awesome spectrum to it. If not, I'll explain: there are 2 teams in each game, consisting each of 5 "pros". Each pro plays differently and has a role to perform in game. The ultimate goal is to push your bots down the 2 lanes by destroying the other bots and killing/preventing the opposites team pros from killing your bots. in which the most effective way to do that is by, you guessed it, killing them, as dead pros can do no harm. You level up throughout the match and select 1 of your 5 skills to level up. To win the game, you must push your bots to the enemies main base to attack their "moneyball" once a bot hops on the money ball, your team can damage the moneyball and take it down, therefore, yes, winning the game. I guess it'd be classified as an Action-strategy-rpg 3d person shooter. The gameplay video on steam explains it pretty well too. Overall it's an awesome game, especially with it being free and all. I'd put it up there with TF2 on the free games list, but the community is a smaller group, you either love it or can't stand it. It's definetely worth a try, but do a practice round and a little bit of their training mode to get the hang of the game, as you won't get it straight off the bat if you just jump into a game. Hit me up on steam within the next 2 days or tonight and we can run through a few things together, it's a lot easier to get if you play with someone who understands it
