Is it just me, or is the character discussion board gone? So anyways, when Spike rescues the phoenix egg and names it Peewee, we all thought "Ooh! How sweet! Spike has a new pet!" But after that, he's gone. The next few episodes don't even mention Peewee! What? Doesn't Spike have to, like, feed him or something? Peewee isn't even mentioned ever again. What did he do, euthanize the poor thing!?
He eated it. It was delishus. In all honesty, I think this is the non-linearity shenanigans that Hasbro demanded.
Peewee, Tank, and Owlicious went on their own epic adventure far away to go save Philomena. That theory at least has some drama to it

Wouldn't they take Celestia for having the egg in the first place. Twilight wouldn't have known where Spike was from......can you even take Celestia to court??
Probably not. She's the queen, and there's no parlaiment or congress or senate. Shame on hasbro, teaching children that these types of governments are effective in the modern era. Anyhoo, I'm sure the pets will all come back for a reappearance in S3. They are among the characters I am hoping for the return of. Characters that need a S3 episode: Luna (Because Luna is awesome.) Trixie (Seriously. She is perfectly set up for "The return of TGPT".) Pets (Peewee, Owlowicious, Tank, Winona, Gummy, etc.) Princess Celestia (She never got her own episode! Yet everyone is so worried about Luna who already got her own episode...) Prince Blueblood (Because it would just be so hilarious to see an average day in the life of Blueblood) And several others that I don't feel like writing down. Making one of the Fanon characters Canon would be kinda cool, but I'm not so into Fanon. For that reason, I was only slightly disappointed about "The Derpy Incident". Er...that probably belonged more in the S3 discussion...but...
Maybe all the pets were sent off to fight in a distant war? (Except for Angel Bunny who is a giant douche who doesn't care about anyone else).
Hmmm...maybe they should put Peewee in a suit and bow and fill Twilight's library with sentient furniture....

Did somepony say fire? On topic: Owlicious and the other pets also pretty much dissapeared till "May the best pet win!", My guess is that the pets have sporadical episodes... Wouldn't suprise me if we'd see Peewee and Tank return in a season 3 episode...
Maybe the writers forgot about them or they couldn't find anywhere to put them in... Ignore that, that's a stupid idea.
im hopeing they will make a come back in season 3 if not then they all when on an adventure as previously mentioned lol
