Hey everyone! I was just wondering if anyone had suggestions about other shows to watch. I sped through My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in 3 days, and now I don't know what to do. What has everyone else been doing for their pony fix? I NEED HELP! I'm not picky, so any suggestions are welcome!
Play a game, get an xbox, get gears of war 2, halo reach, and call of duty, congratz, your now set for life
Watch season 1 again, trying making music pony related or not (your choice), Xbox is always a good choice, hang around on the forums. All i can think of at the moment.
Watch Dr. Who? lol Sorry, had to. XD Hmm, I don't game much these days. But that would certainly eat up a lot of time. I spend a lot of my time just browsing the billion pony sites there are now.
Why, Anime, my good man. It has all the things you love about MLP. + Bright colors. + Cute characters. + Memebase full of sexual innuendos. + AMVs (PMVs).
Play a game, get a PS3, get Uncharted 2, Resistance 2, and MAG, that should eat up a lot of time....you know....in case you don't have Xbox.....
well, how about watching season one all over again? also, some bike riding or sports is nice (we need to keep up for our health, don't we?), spend time with friends. as for tv/pc: I suggest half life, Mario Kart (if you have Wii), watching Chowder, Futurama, and browsing memebase (and my little brony.com). if you like cars maybe some episode of top gear would be nice.
OR you can just CHAT IN THE RADIO, jeje belive me, sometimes the chat become funny and great, and time pass quick XD, also there is the RolePlay chat, were you can make historys whit other, and if fun too, just my suggestinons of course.
There's always reading, and that's not just fanfics. I find that reading is a great way to pass the time, especially when you find an author or series that you quickly become addicted to. For me, that series right now is The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher.
Ahhhhh, burn it! (haha well myself I don't have much of a strong opinion on anime itself, it's a style of cartoon that can be entertaining done right, but the anime community is one that I have never gotten along particularly well with, at least the really hardcore ones, since they're quite often not too accepting of other people's opinions and viewpoints or blinded by their love of asian things. It's just funny this exists, seeing as I had been thinking for a while now that this was going to happen sooner or later, someone try to anime up the characters or do their own animation - I just can't see the show making the transition in a way that's not laughable at best, of course this image is just a joke but you get the point.) ------------------------------------------------ On an actually serious note - @gaming, instead of spending tons of money on an Xbox, to which you then need to spend tons more money for the games and then even more for the online service or paying a fairly large sum for the normally significantly more expensive PS3 (which apparently doesn't have as safe databases as we'd like to think, I'd imagine the cost went down a lot since that) or struggling with the Wii's crippling online service which discourages meeting new people and well using online gaming for what it's normally used for, play on the Comp. For one if you're here you have an internet connection, and for most games that's enough to get into the online play. Two, the variety of games is far and wide, ranging from full on commercial releases like Call of Duty to free independent gems like Cave Story. You can often buy the games through online services and get them at a pretty nice price in comparison to buying the disk in a store. The comp also seems to have more cheaper titles, like Terraria, then the consoles which have been making a significant effort to try and catch up as far as cheap download titles go. The comp just in general makes for a better social experience in online play. @Pony fix There's plenty of fanmade content out there, ranging from games (atm just small games, the big ones are in dev), to music, to images to fanfic (ehhh not my preference but hey, tons of people thoroughly enjoy them). One thing that can be really satisfying is to actually enter the creative side of the community yourself and contribute through your own talents which are sure to exist somewhere, beit that you learn from the community (which is ready and willing to help get you started) or have prior knowledge. Doodle around, maybe find some free music programs (I can point you to a few if you're interested) or start writing in your spare time. There's plenty of things to occupy your time for now.
Here, let me put down what the back of the first book says: "Harry Dresden-Wizard Lost Items Found. Paranormal Investigations. Consulting. Advice. Reasonable Rates. No Love Potions, Endless Purses, or Other Entertainment. Harry Dresden is the best at what he does. Well, technically, he's the only at what he does. So when the Chicago P.D. has a case that transcends mortal creativity or capability, they come to him for answers. For the "everyday" world is actually full of strange and magical things-and most of them don't play well with humans. That's where Harry comes in. Takes a wizard to catch a-well, whatever. There's just one problem. Business, to put it mildly, stinks. So when the police bring him in to consult on a grisly double murder committed with black magic, Harry's seeing dollar signs. But where there's black magic, there's a black mage behind it. And now that mage knows Harry's name. And that's when things start to get... interesting. Magic. It can get a guy killed." TL;DR version: It's about a humorously cynical wizard who doubles as a private investigator. There are currently 11 books in the series, so it can keep you busy for a bit. I highly recommend them, because it's a good balance between several genres (comedy, mystery, thriller, romance, etc.).
You could always go outside. Ha, ha, yeah, right! JK, watch the season over again, memorize the dialog, make up conspiracy theories about the characters, and start a countdown to season two. (We're at about T-11 to 13 weeks)
I'd say a compilation of all suggestions: GAME. Personally, I'm a PC gamer, so I'd say stick to the best system and get whatever game strikes your fancy on steam. Also, the Touhou series has some great gameplay, both in the shmups, spinnoffs, and fighters, and if you get into the fannon of the thing you will literaly not have time between ponies and touhou. Some anime are also nice, especially Gainax anime, what with their trolling and general lulz. Reading is also a good way to pass time, especially the Diskworld series if you haven't read it. I honestly have too many suggestions here to list them in this post. I spend about 3-5 hours a week fencing, so phisical activity also uses up time, and really should be done. In the end, do what you want, because a pirate is free. And you probably are a pirate. (Since you watched uploaded copyrighted content, which is technically piracy in the case of MLP:FIM)
I was honestly going to suggest anime, and then saw that others beat me to the punch. Anime is generally a good choice if you like MLP- hell, my friend even considers it anime a bit. :3 What I personally would suggest to you highly depends on what kind of anime you're interested in- or more simply, if you like fighting stoof or not (or just minimal violence but still fightins and stuff~)
