A young pegasus foal lay in the alleyway, shivering. His pure white coat was stained with blood, and his deep purple eyes were half closed. His side was covered in cuts, and one wing was bent where there was no joint. He would have blended in with the snow, if it wasn't for his hair, which was black tipped in purple. Nopony noticed him. Nopony cared. He could feel his life start to slip away from him.
Shadow was walking down the street when he heard something coming from the ally." Someone may need my help." Shadow turned and when down the ally. As he aproached the pagusus He could see the blood and started to worry. He aprroached the young foal, but the started foal started to cry. "What little one? Is it my sword? Your afraid arn't you? Well don't worry I won't hurt you." Shadow said as he picked up the scared foal and caried it home. Once there he washe the blood off, dressed the wounds and covered up the foal. "Are you hungry? What would you like to eat?"
The little pegasus looked terrified. "W... Who are you?" He questioned, purple eyes wide. "Where am I?"
"Well. okay... Can I have cake?" The young foal said, starting to open up. "Cake always makes me feel better."
The pegasus tucked into the cake, not caring about how messy his face was getting. "I'm Stardust Shade." He said with his mouth full.
"Shade that's the name of someone I really care for." Shadow said as he drunk some soda."Would you like to stay here? I'll protect you"
"Of course you can. I mean I don't know if I'm a good role model, but I'll keep you warm, fed, and safe."
"Well I kinda specialize in protection." Shadow said is he set his sword by the door. "Now please tell me what happened." (Sorry if I reply late I'm kinda like enveloped by my new 3ds. Also I can't spell)
Shade looked out the window. "I dunno... I never played one... Sometimes on the street I heard older colts talking about them..."
