The OOC and Signup (Oh, and as we all live in very different time zones and likely won't be able to all post at once, I am enforcing a 6-8 post limit per day so no one will have to read through pages upon pages of posts.) Doctor Indus Free Heart looked at the two ponies in front of him after having finished is speak, "Aias mio." He muttered, going into one his 'weird' phases, "N'w Imma sure ya all wanna ge' on s'ar'ed wi'h 'is 'ere a'ven'ure foh tha Los' Ci'y. Bu' le' me lay on down some ground ruled. Rule 1! No matter how absolutely tempting it is to go off on your own, you yellow bellies shouldn't even THINK about it! Rule number dos! Do as we say, and thou shalt remain whole and unkilled! Rule 3! We aren't going on some namby-pampy adventure to mamby pampy land! NO, we are going to the most dangerous jungle in the whole entire world, and if any of you little maggots feel like running, your dead!" He suddenly blinked and returned to normal while fixing his tie, "Now, is there anything you have any questions about?" he asked as if he hadn't just blown through several different accents and personalities in just a few sentences.
He cleared his throat, "Well, ever since I was a little colt I wanted to go places that no pony else had ever been to, had ever even DREAMED of being. When I heard of the legend of the Lost City, I had to find it, it became my life's goal. My entire career has been based around it, finding out where it was, if it actually existed, who built it and why? My entire career has been building up to this moment." he replied to the energetic little pony, he suddenly chuckled and said, "You know, you remind me of me when I was still young." he chuckled.
"Um, one moment please, need to make sure I have everything!" Indus said quickly, before dashing off with more speed than one of his age deserves to go. From his office, loud banging and mutterings could be heard, "Did I...No-Here" *BANG* "Nope. Here?" *CRASH*, "Nada, ah here we are, just a-Now where did I-",*BLAM* "There it is!" he dashed back out and came skidding to a halt in front of the two, "Ah, here we are! Now, are we all set to leave?" he asked energetically as his coat pockets bulged with items and compasses and maps and other things.
Sun giggled and nodded. She sprinted around the room a couple of times, then sat, waiting, only to bounce right back up and run around again.
Indus smiled at the thought of this moment, the culmination of his career, "Righto! Let's go!" he said walking out the door, and out onto the campus airfeild, where he lead the two to a plane, "Now, I got this as a just in case an additional explorer wasn't a pegasus, so climb on in and we will be off!"
