But oddly enough he's deaf so I used youtube's transcribe to help him out. It didn't work to say the least.
Oh, that's a shame.. There should be some episodes on youtube with great working subs, so that might help. On another note, I think it's great that you and your friend can still enjoy watching the show, despite his deafness. I know it can be hard to accept such things about others, and I'm proud of you for being a good friend and wanting to make him enjoy it to the best of your capabilities. Brony on, - R
I would like someone to make the entire series closed captioned and put it up on youtube, assuming it won't be taken down weekly. Because the only thing youtube transcribe got right was, "are you sitting on a feather mattress in a hole in the ground."
I'm sure someone will have this done a bit after the episode actually airs. I know some do not wish to spoil themselves by watching it early, and perhaps people that do the subs are the same way.
Hmm. I have all the eps downloaded along with their transcripts. I've been thinking about uploading them to YouTube with captions, but my worry is Hasbro breathing down everyone's neck. I'd always have that constant fear of getting into legal troubles.
BeanyOne had done that, but then he had to remove all of them because Hasbro was threatening to delete his channel Make a separate channel?
Even making a separate channel. If they wanted me arrested, they can easily track it down. I'm sure I wouldn't be and the channel would probably just be removed with no consequences against me, but it's happened before.
Here you have http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL85CBED30427130B3&feature=plcp There was a lot of channels with MLP english and other subs but... you know, copyright
Yay, hopefully they stay up long enough for me to show him an episode because it really, really does no good to expect youtube transcribe to be decent.
